Over a year after a "special review" by Maryland auditors blasted the Baltimore Register of Wills office for media spending, and less than a month before Election Day, OLA has released the final report of its fiscal compliance audit -- with no important findings.
In response, incumbent RoW Belinda Conaway notes that an ethics inquiry, presumably the one mentioned in the last OLA report about a certain RoW employee's hiring, has closed.
