A 🧵: Today, the team at @CCS_Advocacy and I are launching our new report on #palliativecare in Canada. It was a ton of work, and there are a number of key findings that I want to raise.
Our new report shows that Canada lacks capacity to consistently deliver #palliativecare. Most provinces have out-of-date plans while others don’t have any plan in place. And almost all provinces have fewer hospice beds than recommended.

Last week, the #PalliativeCare Coalition of Canada hosted a Breakfast on Parliament Hill. To educate and advocate to #cdnpoli decision makers on the urgency of renewing our investment in palliative care in Canada, we brought the experience of community palliative care to them.
