Hey guys 👋🏻 Lost my SWE job last year & keep finishing as the "top 2 candidate."
Having been a team lead for 2 years, I'm considering a pivot to Project Management.
Any tips on landing a SWE role vs. switching to PM?

One of my mentees got his first job offer, after the first interview he ever had. I’ve been his mentor for the past 7 months. I’m so proud! 🎊🍾👏 #mentor #mentorship #coding #100DaysOfCode #301DaysOfCode #reactjs #javascript
There is something people don’t understand about mentoring. Your mentor is not supposed to “babysit” you, they can’t code instead of you, or watch tutorials. They can only help you with things you don’t understand and guide you.

Do what you can to lift up others around you. A simple compliment can go a long way.
This is one of my mentees. Duje. He's looking for a remote internship or a junior position. He's very good with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and is currently learning React. Can you please share this post, maybe someone you know would like to offer him a job. 🙏😊 linkedin.com/in/duje-be%C4%8…

Every extraordinary person needs an extraordinary person to tell them they’re extraordinary before they become extraordinary.

I am looking for any Junior Web Developer roles 💞
I know it's silly but I'm pretty heart broken over not getting the last job that rejected me. I just want an environment I can grow in.

A good mentor will teach you how to think, not what to think.

Love this way of getting an overview of an array in JavaScript - using the simple line console.table() 🔥

Today, we’re releasing the first Release Candidate for React 17! This release is rather unusual: it contains no new features. 👀 reactjs.org/blog/2020/08/10/…

ALT The React 17 release is unusual because it doesn’t add any new developer-facing features. Instead, this release is primarily focused on making it easier to upgrade React itself. We’re actively working on the new React features, but they’re not a part of this release. The React 17 release is a key part of our strategy to roll them out without leaving anyone behind. In particular, React 17 is a “stepping stone” release that makes it safer to embed a tree managed by one version of React inside a tree managed by a different version of React.
