We live in a time where people feel like the best is behind us, I refuse to believe that. I am building something from the ground up, I am dreaming of something that will outlast me. I will not allow the devils a single inch of ground.
Book 27 Games is just getting started.
Working on reverse engineering an old weapon system I built for a past prototype to fit with the new guns and player blueprint. Nothing flashy to share, just knee deep in shitty code I wrote ages ago.

It's so easy to get swept up in the political whirlwind. Here's the better message to send today.
"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God." Romans 13:1
This is a tough verse to accept because we dislike so much of what we see. The truth is, the people in power are there for a reason, and we need to trust and have faith that God's plan is in motion and that He knows what he's doing even when everything seems so tumultuous.
You shouldn't have to pay a price for choosing not to use AI.
“This is a particularly clear example of the tech industry going out of its way to force A.I. on us all — even if we have said we don’t want it.” —Morgan Polikoff, USC
AI should always be a choice. Turning it off shouldn’t cost a school its search engine too.
Google is now threatening America's schools, saying they will turn off their core search functions if schools choose to entirely block AI.

That quote at the end opens every kind of rabbit hole imaginable regarding TES lore. I foresee thousands of hours of my life being lost to this game, much like it is with every Bethesda title.
Victories lost and time travel hint at a very different future than predicted.
Had a disgustingly profitable round in Marathon. Probably the highest exit value I’ve ever had. Not the highest ever, certainly, but a personal best for sure. Teammates all had 10k plus as well.
I just realized that Dark Souls III came out ten years ago.
I remember playing Dark Souls for the first time. Ate that game up. Beat it with no guides and had one of the greatest journeys doing so.
I remember when Dark Souls II came out and my friends and I stayed up for two days in a row playing it from start to finish multiple times.
I remember when Dark Souls III came out and upon finishing the game it felt like a full circle had been made. The cycle complete.
I've yet to hear someone justify why a gamer should care enough to play a game that a dev couldn't care enough to make themselves. If you're using genAI it tells the customer that the product isn't worth the effort it takes to make. Why should they buy that?
Granted, there's a group of people called "consumers" who don't give a shit, but if that's really your target market then you've got different problems.
