There is a version of me the world has never seen, a version still fighting silent battles, healing from invisible wounds and trying to make sense of the life I've lived.
Sometimes, I look at myself and wonder how much strength it takes to keep going when life gives you every reason to give up.
I've smiled through pain, remained silent when I had a thousand things to say, and carried burdens I could never explain to anyone.
But I've come to understand something: I cannot spend the rest of my life trying to prove that I am enough to people while neglecting the responsibility of becoming better for myself.
I don't want to compete, impress or seek validation anymore. I want to grow, find peace, correct my mistakes and become a person my younger self would be proud of.
Let people misunderstand my journey. Let them question my silence. Not every struggle needs an audience, and not every achievement needs an announcement.
I owe myself healing, patience, discipline and another chance at life.
One day, I hope to look back at these difficult moments and smile, not because they were easy, but because I refused to let them define the rest of my story.
I am not where I want to be, but I am no longer willing to remain where I used to be. My greatest responsibility is not to prove myself to the world, but to become the person I know I can be.

Ammunition reportedly recovered from a swamp in Teso, believed to have been one of the locations where Private Peter Elwelu sought temporary concealment before relocating to another hideout.
The security response has since been heightened, with an intensified manhunt underway to track down his whereabouts. The recovery of ammunition adds another dimension to the ongoing search and raises further questions about his movements and possible preparations.
Should he be apprehended, he will face the due military justice process, including possible court martial proceedings, dismissal from service and a signed loss of ranks and a conviction for treason could carry the death penalty under applicable law.
The priority now is to locate him, secure the recovered ammunition and bring the matter before the appropriate authorities.
