this scares me human doctors have not been able to cure cancer, but we celebrate their work and any progress they've made read the tweet below, what is this person REALLY scared of? AI won't cure cancer? ok, fine, we will keep trying why the need to CONVINCE others that it won't? we've seen this happen in every field AI touches some people in that field start screaming that "AI can't do what *I* do!" what triggers that anger/fear response? they are afraid that AI can and will do their job and do it better because they will lose status, money and they will have to find their self-worth elsewhere as Ilya said long ago, these people will "have a bad time" if you don't think AI will solve cancer, that's totally fine if you're worried that AI will solve cancer, there's something really, really wrong with you

Patrick, spare us the self-congratulatory rubbish. Nobody opposes protecting children, but using child safety as a shield against scrutiny of sweeping government powers is disgraceful. Massive penalties, expanded regulatory powers and pressure on platforms to decide what Australians can and can’t see. And you expect us to applaud? Who decides what’s harmful? Who protects lawful speech? And who holds the regulators accountable when they get it wrong? Labor seems increasingly comfortable telling Australians what they can see, say and think. You’re elected to represent Australians, Patrick, not decide what they’re allowed to see, say or think. Australians don’t need Labor’s permission to exercise their freedoms. And the sheer arrogance of politicians who can’t even get the basics of governing right appointing themselves guardians of what the rest of us can say is absolutely staggering.

For the fools out there, Zelensky himself posted about using Starlink for offensive drone strikes, which has always been against Starlink’s terms of service:

When Coles staff wear political pins supporting LGBT, airlines welcome unto ur own country, teachers preach climate change religion. They r going to get backlash, their jobs involved face to face with the public, some of whom dont agree with their politics and r paying their wages. Its never right to abuse people, but the spread of politics into every part of our lives strains our social harmony. But u chose not to identify this?

Correct. Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be. Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them. Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week. Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact. Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia. SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR. That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell. End of story.
STARLINK WORKS THE SAME WAY ITS ALWAYS WORKED. ITS NOT A WEAPONS SYSTEM, NO MATTER HOW MUCH UKRAINE WANTS IT TO BE.

Elon calling Hitler far-left is historically inaccurate. See how easy that was? You can disagree with someone without having a complete emotional breakdown. 🤣 But since we're discussing history, let's not pretend the Nazis were champions of capitalism, free markets, or individual liberty either. Hitler's government controlled wages, prices, production priorities, and entire industries through regulation and coercion, even while allowing private ownership. And yes, Hitler persecuted communists and socialists. Stalin also persecuted rival communists and socialists. Authoritarian dictators eliminating political competition isn't exactly some groundbreaking discovery. The Nazis were far-right ultranationalists with an economy heavily directed by the state. Both things can be true. The actual lesson here is that authoritarianism isn't exclusive to either political side. Governments can become dangerously powerful regardless of which ideology they claim to represent. Elon got the political classification wrong. You got that part right. Congratulations. Unfortunately, being right about one historical fact doesn't automatically make every other argument you might attach to it correct. And if your best response to someone being wrong is a paragraph of insults about their intelligence and bank account, perhaps you're not quite the intellectual heavyweight you imagine yourself to be.

Perfectly logical that the prime minister’s staff would compile a paper describing the integrity of the independent member for Indi and distribute it to the press. In unrelated news, I have a bridge to sell.

If this dirt folder was a list showing her “integrity” Then surely that would suggest if she was attacking his integrity then by the lying bastards own words he has admitted to having lower integrity and being dirty in some way.

Andrew this is so disingenuous. Your lying Government is the problem. The blatant election campaign lies of 2025, revealed in the May 2026 budget, lit the fuse. Now we are all looking at the sheer scale of your Government’s fraud and incompetence. It’s playing out whether we comment or not. Standard of living dropping first time in modern history, highest inflation in western world, unemployment growing at alarming rate, private businesses failing at an extraordinary rate. This is all your government’s doing, this is not the fault of ‘misinformation’ on the internet. Facts don’t care about your feelings.
Social media has become antisocial media. Algorithms reward outrage, turning political opponents into enemies. In my Joan Kirner Oration, I argue for changing the feeds that inflame us and rebuilding the communities that connect us. Scroll less, stroll more. ow.ly/fqEn50ZZTtH #auspol

Your opinion is null and void, you live in a bubble of arrogance, advised by equally biased opinion far removed from the reality of every day life. Rather than correct your ways as politicians, you now want to moderate any and all means of communication amongst the population because you can't handle the scrutiny.

THIS SHOULD END ALBANESE’S LEADERSHIP. It’s getting huge traction on my insta & facebook. It’s a massive story. All we can assume is mainstream media are silent because Labor Government have bought them with money they have added to taxpayer debt. It would be sad to be a main stream journalist in Australia in 2026.
REVEALED: It looks like every major mainstream media journalist must have been issued the Haines Dirt Sheet instructions by Albanese’s office How do we know? Because they’ve all ***diligently responded by censoring the Haines Dirt Sheet story*** No media outlet in Australia has covered the Dirt Sheet other than News24 and the Daily Mail, who to their credit, broke the story The contrast of Helen Haines’ personal integrity - to a Prime Minister who is actively targeting her - is why this is snowballing It’s not going to go away. Surely the Prime Minister will apologise to Helen Haines, her family and her community. To not do so, knowing full well they all know his office was plotting against her, adds to their terrible suffering The media are all going to look like complicit fools, if they continue the cover up @abcnews @smh @theage @GuardianAus @SBSNews @Channel9 @Channel7 @Channel10AU @sunriseon7

The sheer audacity. Oh how different this would be if the perpetrator was an opposition supporter. Your moral outrage only matches your agenda. The ‘we are all in this together’ crap to deflect from a targeted smear campaign to cover the PM’s pork barreling corruption. Disgusting. Truly.

Reports of China-linked transnational repression targeting people in Australia are deeply concerning. As Australia’s close security partner, the U.S. stands with Australians in defending individual freedoms, national sovereignty, and the right to live free from intimidation – in their own country. These shared values are central to our alliance: news.com.au/national/crime/e…

Just moments after the attack on MP Helen Haines, the left and the usual media suspects were already out there peddling baseless, conspiracy-laden claims blaming One Nation and Pauline Hanson. Even after one of their own carried out this attempted assassination, they have no shame inventing lies to distort the truth of the attackers rabid far-left ideology. Remember: everything is political to these groups, until it becomes an inconvenient truth. So do not give this mob an inch, there is no requirement for grace in such a scenario. Far-left extremism has gone unchecked for decades in Victoria. If we don’t expose it, more of these unhinged pro-Hamas eco-warriors will try to inflict harm on society. We saw the Marxist child groomers trying to radicalise children against One Nation to attack Pauline Hanson. Their political violence is growing daily. We must stand up to it.
