Because we were talking about his outside skin temperature in relation to the phone battery temperature. The phone wasn’t inside of his organs. It was lying in between his wet clothes which was on his “frozen, cold to the touch” body on top of frozen ground.

I was stating what the EMT’s documented when we were talking about the phone battery temp and how it didn’t get below 43 degrees while laying under John who was in wet clothes and cold to the touch. He wasn’t a source of heat and neither was the frozen ground under him.
