Covid, Ukraine, Iran. If the last six years have taught us anything, it’s that we need to exploit our own natural resources and reduce dependency on imports in critical sectors. Banning new North Sea drilling after the economic shocks since 2020 is a suicidal policy both economically and for national security. The British public are sick to death of politicians deliberately undermining our national wellbeing. Restore Britain will reverse this ban and exploit the full natural resources of our nation.

Foreigners have destroyed the West, foreigners of all colours. We either acknowledge that or watch Rome fall.

This is directly comparable with Britain. In short, take your own side (race) or watch your entire world get taken from you and worse yet, from your children who are destined for an extremely dark future.
Every GOP strategist, consultant, and candidate should be forced to participate in a role-playing exercise this morning. Your name is Bob. You’re a 49-year-old blue-collar worker in Ohio. You’ve always struggled to make ends meet. The good jobs were all shipped to China and the few remaining pay a pittance wage, undercut by endless illegal labor. You’re a 3x Trump voter because you believed he would finally make America great again. You put your son through Ohio State. He graduated cum laude in computer science. You couldn’t have been prouder. After months searching, he landed an entry-level job at Microsoft. Beneath his qualifications, but a good start for a smart kid. Then he got laid off. That same month, Microsoft applied for 150,000 more H-1B visas because it can’t find qualified Americans. Your son has spent six months back in his childhood bedroom, sending hundreds of applications without landing an interview. On TV, Trump boasts about the greatest economy in history and how many women and minorities are finding jobs. You decide a father-son steak night might cheer him up. Gas is $4.50 a gallon. Filling your truck costs over $100. At Kroger, ribeyes are $30/lb. You settle for hamburger, even though 70/30 ground beef still costs $10+. At checkout, a fat black woman is screaming at the cashier because her EBT will only cover most of the filet mignon and lobster in her cart. You think to yourself how the Iran war has made everything expensive, but at least we’re stopping their nuclear bomb. You weren’t even sure where Iran was before you googled it after we first bombed them in March. After dinner, you take your son to the county fair. Half the people aren’t speaking English. Virtually none of the crowd looks like you. You’re forced to leave early after a “teen takeover” turns violent. A foreign born judge pledges none of them will go to jail. Back home, you turn on the TV. Vivek Ramaswamy is lecturing the crowd about American mediocrity and why Ohio needs more foreign talent. Your son grows upset. You change the channel. Now a Republican surrogate, the daughter of a governor or wife of an elderly billionaire, explains that young White men are the REAL welfare queens. They’d rather play videogames in their parents’ basements than work. Your son says nothing. He just goes back to his childhood bedroom. You turn off the TV. Then your neighbor starts blasting reggaeton and cracking open Modelos. He brought his cousin’s family from Mexico to help with all the minority-business contracts his construction firm keeps winning. Tonight they’re celebrating his nephew’s birth, the family’s first birthright American citizen. You sit alone in your living room. You worked hard, paid taxes, obeyed the law, and raised your son to do everything right. You voted Republican again and again because you believed somebody in Washington would finally fight for you. Instead, your wages are stagnant. Groceries are unaffordable. Your community is unrecognizable. Your country is fighting another foreign war. And upstairs, the son you sacrificed everything for is lying awake in the bedroom he slept in at twelve, wondering what the heck he’s even supposed to do with his life now. Every time you turn on the TV, the Republicans you elected are either congratulating themselves or explaining why you and your son are the problem. For ten years, they told you America’s future depended on your vote. Now you aren’t even sure America has a future worth defending. The Republican Party needs to answer one simple question this morning: You’ve spent a decade demanding Bob’s loyalty. You’ve given him stagnant wages, unaffordable groceries, another foreign war, and a son who did everything right but can’t find work. And when they complain, you call them lazy, entitled, and racist. What possible reason have you given Bob and his son to vote Republican? Do you honestly think you deserve their vote?

Nigel Farage is completely out of touch and continues to embarrass himself.
Nigel Farage told GB News viewers he didn't buy predictions of a Trump defeat. Musk hasn't spent $450m on election "for fun" he said. "We're in for a surprise" So we were: on the sheer size of the anti-Trump vote comment.press/shellacking

Iran has cost the Republicans far more than anyone expected. It was a catastrophic mistake. And if Reform or the Tories were in charge, we would have gone to war right behind them. On day one, Restore Britain said no. It was not right for the British people, and we were absolutely right to draw that line in the sand. The consequences of ANOTHER pointless Middle Eastern war have reached far into the homes of ordinary British families. The price of petrol. The cost of heating. The weekly food shop. The mortgage. The small business struggling to pay its electricity bill. YOUR life has been made so much more expensive by THEIR war. Every pointless escalation has made life more expensive for people who are already being squeezed from every direction. For what? To what end? What has this war achieved? Absolutely nothing of worth. Restore Britain said no. Not because we support the Iranian regime. Obviously that is not the case. But because the first duty of a British government is to protect Britain and its people. And that very much includes protecting British families from the economic consequences of wars that are evidently and clearly not in our national interest. When oil prices rise, families pay more to fill their cars. Those moving goods face higher diesel costs. Farmers pay more to operate their machinery. Businesses face rising transport and production bills. Those costs do not stay at the petrol pump. That gets passed on. EVERYTHING gets more expensive. It is always the same people who end up paying. It’s not the politicians making grand speeches about international leadership. It’s not the commentators demanding military action from the comfort of television studios. It is British mums and dads trying to stretch the wage for a few extra days. It’s the pensioner frightened to put the heating on. The young couple wondering whether they can afford a home. The small business owner calculating whether another increase in costs will finally force them to close. They have been handed another bill for someone else’s war - a war backed by everyone on the right apart from Restore Britain. Farage said this is the ‘right one’, and 'the gloves need to come off’. That is VERY easy to say from a GB News studio. A Restore Britain government will put the interests of its own citizens before the approval of foreign leaders. Britain does not need another foreign war. We tried that. It failed, over and over. The abuse I received from Reform politicians for saying so was extreme. They were wrong. The Tories were wrong. Restore Britain was right. We need cheaper energy, affordable food, secure borders. We need to control inflation. We need to make our economy deliver for working men and women. THAT is our aim. Not getting dragged into another pointless foreign war. Our loyalty is to the British people. Our responsibility is to British families. Our aim is to make life affordable again for our people. And our answer to yet another unnecessary war was no, and remains no. No more pointless foreign wars.

🇬🇧 MY PERSONAL VIEW ON THE NEW UK ILR RULES – ANOTHER WAY TO LOOK AT IT I understand that some British citizens and the UK Government believe that five years is too short a period to qualify for permanent settlement. I also understand the importance of controlling immigration, protecting public services and ensuring that people contribute to the UK economy. But I believe there is another solution worth considering. WHY NOT SEPARATE ILR FROM THE RIGHT TO WORK FREELY? Here is my suggestion: 1️⃣ First 5 years: People continue under their existing visa conditions, including sponsorship requirements, and must follow all immigration rules. 2️⃣ After 5 years: If someone has completed five years of lawful residence and work, has a good immigration and criminal record, and meets the required contribution criteria, why not allow them to work freely? This could include: Changing employers without needing a new sponsor. Working for any legal business. Becoming self-employed. Starting their own business. Working multiple jobs without sponsorship restrictions. 3️⃣ ILR and public funds: The Government could maintain a longer qualifying period, even 10 or 15 years, with appropriate restrictions on access to public funds until the person qualifies. WHY DO I THINK THIS MATTERS? There are thousands of talented people who came to the UK with professional skills, business experience, ambitions and the ability to create opportunities. Some could become entrepreneurs, employ other people, establish businesses and contribute more to the economy. But when someone’s entire working life depends on one sponsoring employer, their opportunities to grow, change careers or start a business can be restricted. The UK needs skilled workers, but it can also benefit from allowing those workers to become independent, innovative and entrepreneurial. My question is simple: If someone has worked legally, paid taxes, contributed to National Insurance and followed all immigration rules for five years, why should their ability to work independently still depend entirely on sponsorship? I am not saying everyone should automatically receive ILR after five years. I am suggesting that freedom to work, freedom to build a business and permanent settlement could be treated as separate stages. Perhaps this could create a better balance between immigration control, economic growth and individual opportunity. What do you think? Would this approach work for the UK? I would genuinely like to hear opinions from British citizens, employers, entrepreneurs and people currently on Skilled Worker visas. #UKImmigration #ILR #SkilledWorkerVisa #UKEconomy #EarnedSettlement

Agreed. Shallow, lacking in depth, anti-white, anti-family, pro-consumerism. Poor.
Nope...not for me! 😠 This years John Lewis Christmas ad, in summary. Nan needs a hug, rude kids barge past her, ignoring her completely. Kids don't like Nans childhood presents, so Nan goes out shopping to John Lewis to buy things they like to placate them. Nan eventually gets her hug, when the spoilt grandkids get the presents they want. Oh, and a rickshaw ride round London for good measure! An absolutely dreadful story of kids attitudes towards the elderly today, and blatant consumerism - I for one, won't be shopping there this year! 🎁 🎅🎄

Keep your friends close but... What Matthew is saying here is actually correct in some sense. Not the attacks on Zia but the relentless chat on immigration. The normies moderates can be convinced but if you're shoving it down their throats endlessly, you might just push them away. It is the defining issue of our time and the betrayal is relentless but that's just the reality for people who aren't interested in politics and make judgements based on their daily lives in isolation. The right should bang the drum, and be relentless, but we should also be smart and counter strength with compassion in other areas. We don't do this enough, @RestoreBritain are a lot better at it but could still do much more. This is how you beat Burnham who has vast amounts of normies under his "nice bloke" spell which still holds.

Fewer jobs for Brits, more jobs for immigrants. Rather than try to get those out of employment back into the workforce, the government preferred to import labour to instead. Now they want to lock that in forever, as young people find it harder and harder to find a job.
More benefits claimants, more people lodging dodgy PIP claims, unemployment up. And yet the Government still massively boosted immigration. The British people were betrayed.

Can anyone remember the last time that they heard a policy and literally jumped up and cheered it on?
Migrants are literally celebrating on camera at the news of the Labour Government relaxing immigration rules This is a policy written by them, for them. The UK is set up purely to help non-British people

The political landscape right now: Labour will reward the Boriswave with citizenship. The Conservatives will do nothing about it. Reform UK will allow Boriswave migrants to stay if they "benefit Britain." Restore Britain will withdraw every Boriswave citizenship granted by Labour and reverse the whole thing.
