Pleased to join @unwomenbih in bringing this important conversation to the Western Balkans.
Better understanding the experiences and challenges of women on the move is key to shaping migration policies that protect rights and expand opportunities.
Migration can be a pathway to opportunity, but too many women still face discrimination, exploitation & barriers to decent work. Yesterday, w/ @IOMWBalkans we called for policies that protect rights, expand opportunities & recognize women as agents of change. #LeaveNoOneBehind

Changing the conversation on migration starts by looking beyond borders and seeing the people, stories and aspirations that shape every journey.
