$ASTS: The first confirmation of AST's integration activities with @ulalaunch's Vulcan were in the Q1 2026 earnings call Q&A in May: @AbelAvellan mentioned stacking 5 in Vulcan without being asked about Vulcan. Operator Ben from Virginia asks, โ€œCan you update us on your composite readiness specifically? Are you now manufacturing all structural carbon fiber reinforced polymer components and reflector entirely in-house? And if not, is the plan to?โ€ Abel Avellan, Founder, Chairman & CEO Thank you, Ben, for the question. Listen, the way that we stack the satellites is think about tuna cans where you put 3 of them, one on top of another on the Falcon 9, up to 8 of them on the Blue Origin New Glenn rocket, or up to 5 of them in the Vulcan ULA rocket. So that structure is our design. 1/2 ๐Ÿงต
The piece that makes the most sense when adding the other thread about Falcons and the ULA thread I didnโ€™t write because I want to go to sleep - it all makes sense nowโ€ฆ $AMZN and $ASTS might have done a capacity swap. Thatโ€™s my final bet. I accept judgments of subsequent facts. Q1 and Q2 call, taken together along with $AMZNโ€™s FCC filings fit like a jigsaw puzzle. ๐Ÿงฉ @Defiantclient2 might fill in the ULA stuff that I shared among my broโ€™s and do the missing thread I didnโ€™t write

$ASTS: And then later in the same earnings call, @scottwisniews confirmed that AST was "also doing some integration activities with others to get ready for potential launches": Christopher Schoell, UBS Investment Bank, Research Division Great, thank you for taking my question. Now that you've had a few weeks to digest, can you just walk us through what happened with BlueBird 7 and what gives you comfort this will not repeat going forward and that New Glenn can scale accordingly? And last quarter, you mentioned you began to integrate your satellites with another heavy launch vehicle. And I believe I heard you say ULA earlier. Where does the integration process stand, and could we see you rely upon them this year? Is this more a consideration for '27 and beyond? Scott Wisniewski, President & Chief Strategy Officer Chris, I'll dive in. So we were pretty open on BlueBird 7, the day of. We knew what happened immediately and we were very open on what it is. And at the end of the day, remember, we have 33 satellites in advanced stage of production at the factory. So while it was a loss, we're on to the next. So yeah, I would say that we're working closely with Blue. They're working through the investigation in upper stage anomaly. This is not uncommon early in programs and we feel optimistic about them getting back to the pad soon. And when you look at their cadence for the year, we all know that they landed the booster, which was a great milestone for the cadence and now they have 2 boosters, sitting in their integration facility ready to get into the cycle. So we think the outlook there looks good. And like I said, we're optimistic. And on the second part of the question, we mentioned that we have contracts with SpaceX and Blue Origin and others. We're also doing some integration activities in there with others to get ready for potential launches. And so listen, we've designed the rocket, as you know, in our business strategy to be launch vehicle agnostic, and we're buyers of launch across the entire heavy launcher footprint. So we were prepared for this years ago with our strategy. We think we selected the right partners, and we've got good partners on top of that, that we're working with. 2/2

$QS: Super strong update today by @QuantumScapeCo! Great progress on literally everything. "Our first key goal for 2026 has been to demonstrate scalable production on the Eagle Line. Eagle Line is fully operational and is producing increased volumes of QSE-5 cells for customers. Our progress on the Eagle Line enables our partners, including Muehlbauer, to translate this blueprint into a 100-MWh mass-production line. With Murata, Corning and Muehlbauer, we have now announced partnerships with global players along the entire production flow, representing an end-to-end solution as we work toward GWh-scale production of QS technology. Our second key goal for 2026 is to advance automotive commercialization. So far this year, we have announced our second named automotive partnership with Honda, we continue our engagement on automotive development with VW PowerCo, and we have signed new agreements and expanded existing relationships with global players in automotive and mobility. Our third key goal for 2026 was to enter new high-value markets, and we are seeing strong interest in both our QSDC and QSAS verticals. With our QS PowerBlock, QSDC is addressing the need for high-performance, safer in-rack energy storage for advanced AI data center designs. With QSAS we are seeing broad interest across advanced applications including defense, aviation and telecommunications, and we have already begun generating customer billings from QSE-5 sample shipments. Finally, in 2026 we promised to go beyond QSE-5 with an update on our technology roadmap, and weโ€™re pleased to announce that this will take place during our 3rd annual Solid State Battery Symposium on November 11 in Kyoto, Japan."

$ASTS $SPCX Every Elon shill and SpaceX fanboy point out the difference between Starshield and Starlink. Thatโ€™s the novice take. Starshield is owned by US DOD including Mission Control, HOWEVER Starshield is operated via a SpaceX satellite operations center via a contractor relationship with the US DOD. It are SpaceX employees that processed the speed limit in Ukraine via the SpaceX SOC. Elon is their boss and can give those engineers orders as well. The question is did Elon act unilaterally and break his contract and later tried to fix that with the White House or did the White House give the order. Regardless Elon and SpaceX are involved one way or the other.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that decisions regarding Ukraine's access to Starlink were up to SpaceX and Elon Musk, not the White House, comments that suggested Musk may have restricted Kyiv's access to the service reut.rs/4yJ7cUM

SpaceX had their earnings call today. Iโ€™ve never been more bullish on this sector. Some highlights in connectivity: โ€ข Elon said they see "a clear path to several hundred billion dollars a year in connectivity revenue." The biggest company in space just told everyone this market is worth hundreds of billions. That's the market $ASTS is built for. โ€ข Their connectivity business did $5.25B in one quarter, up 69% from last year. Annualized that's about a $21B run rate, which is literally more revenue than $ASTS is worth as an entire company right now. Let that one sit for a second. โ€ข Starlink Mobile already has 22 million monthly users and grew 37% in one quarter. People keep asking if anyone actually wants satellite service on their phone. Yeah. They do. Millions of them, growing fast. โ€ข Their timeline is slower than people think. Mobile V2 sats start flying on Starship in 2027, spectrum gets folded in after, and the big US service turn on is early 2028. $ASTS said THIS MORNING they're targeting initial coverage before the end of this year. There's a real window here and AST is already in it. โ€ข Shotwell admitted how the network actually has to work. S-band carries most of the traffic, low band is needed to get into buildings, and most mobile data still rides WiFi anyway. It's a spectrum game at the end of the day. Always was. That's literally the game AST plays with its carrier partners. โ€ข SpaceX told investors they want to become a major mobile carrier in the US. Not a partner. A carrier. So if you're AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile, your choices are the company openly coming for your customers, or $ASTS, the one that runs through your spectrum and makes you money. Pretty easy pick. โ€ข And this wasn't some money losing experiment either. That segment printed about $2.4B in operating income in the quarter with 55% gross margins. Satellite connectivity makes real money when it's built out. That's the whole AST model once the BlueBirds are up. SpaceX basically got on a call today and validated the market, the demand, the business model and the timeline for us. The race is on. Go AST!

$AUR In one of his most recent interviews, Urmson mentioned Daimler as a potential future partner. Now this information comes to light. Perhaps something is brewing behind the scenes.
Interesting shift from Daimler. The company is building autonomy-ready Freightliner trucks but won't limit them to its own subsidiary, Torc Robotics. Other autonomous-driving companies could eventually use the same platform. This could benefit companies like Aurora $AUR and Kodiak $KDK . Aurora has already logged over 500,000 driverless miles on public roads. That operating experience could carry real weight as truck manufacturers begin opening their platforms to competing software providers. Daimler seems to be making a calculated bet: sell the trucks regardless of whose autonomous-driving technology wins. freightwaves.com/news/daimleโ€ฆ
