I don’t think I’ll ever understand Twitter/X.
I can put together a post that I think will resonate with people and it gets 27 likes.
Then I’ll put out some throwaway nothing post and it gets 20,000 likes.

As usual, @jemelehill is desperately trying to make this about race.
The police were called because one of the parents didn’t want their child live-streamed, and the parents who called the police are black.
But please Jemele, keep showing your ignorance and racism.

Texas resident and construction company owner Benny Melendez says he’s regretting his decision to vote for President Trump in 2024, in part because of ICE’s deportation efforts.
“He said he was going to go and get all the criminals,” Melendez told CBS News’ @camiloreports. “Our workers are not the criminals.”
Melendez says many of his workers are now scared to show up to work, fearing arrest and deportation.

At some point the media was captured. I don't think it was always part of the government, (ci a), but it certainly is now.

An especially dangerous threat to liberty occurs when members of the press collude with government agencies instead of monitoring and exposing the abuses of those agencies. Unfortunately, collusion is an all-too-common pattern in press coverage of the national security state’s activities. The American people then receive official propaganda disguised as honest reporting and analysis.
The degree of collaboration frequently has reached stunning levels. During the early decades of the Cold War, some journalists even became outright CIA assets. Washington Post reporter Carl Bernstein’s January 1977, 25,000-word article in Rolling Stone was an extraordinarily detailed account of cooperation between the CIA and members of the press, and it provided key insights into that relationship. In some cases, the “journalists” were actually full-time CIA employees masquerading as members of the Fourth Estate, but Bernstein also confirmed that some 400 bona fide American journalists had secretly carried out assignments for the ClA during the previous 25 years. He noted that “journalists provided a full range of clandestine services — from simple intelligence gathering to serving as go-betweens with spies in Communist countries. Reporters shared their notebooks with the CIA. Editors shared their staffs.”
A December 26, 1977, investigative report in the New York Times described the scope of the CIA’s global campaign to influence opinion through media manipulation. “In its persistent efforts to shape world opinion, the C.I.A. has been able to call upon” an extensive network “of newspapers, news services, magazines, publishing houses, broadcasting stations and other entities over which it has at various limes had some control. A decade ago, when the agency’s communications empire was at its peak, [it] embraced more than 500 news and public information organizations and individuals. According to one CIA official, they ranged in importance ‘from Radio Free Europe to a third‐string guy in Quito who could get something in the local paper.’” The CIA funded those foreign “journalistic assets” generously.
I had never heard of a banana cobbler till yesterday. Decided to make one today. Just out of the oven and the house smells amazing.
Full review after it cools down.

This is honestly one of the best cobblers I’ve ever had. If you like bananas 🍌 or banana pudding or banana bread, you’ll love it.
No mention of the scum muslims and communists who are doing 99% of the damage to France.
I think Macron secretly endorses them.
It warms the cockles of my heart ❤️ to see antifa ne’er-do-wells being taught how to fly.

I’ve voted in national elections since 1980. It seems like every time they tell us that “this is the most important election of our lifetime”
This is the first time in 46 years that that I’ve actually agreed.
There is a literal coup against President Trump being plotted as we speak.
1,600+ former USAID employees, military, state dept diplomats, & foreign policy officials are planning violence for after the midterms.
If Democrats win the House & Senate, the plot will be activated.
DSA “foot soldiers” will take to the streets, instigating violence clashes with Trump law enforcement agents.
They intend their violence to provoke Trump into invoking the Insurrection Act.
If Trump invokes that law, the thugs plan to seize power from the federal govt in a “doomsday scenario” deletimizing the federal govt and giving power to Democrat governors in blue states.
Then they plan to impose their “structural reforms” on the country. A “refounding” they call it. They mean impose communism on you.
They also plan for a “breakthrough” to happen to take Trump out between now and Jan 3.
This plot appears to be the brainchild of color revolution experts like Erica Chenoweth, and others who worked at USAID.
Honestly it BLOWS MY MIND that some people are gonna sit out the midterms. Not vote. Are you crazy?
Literal communists who hate you and want to kill you are plotting to overthrow our govt, steal your vote and topple the president you elected.
Who, by the way, is THE ONLY PRESIDENT IN HISTORY who has successfully obliterated USAID, the institution that produces these color revolutions aimed at YOU.
I get it, gas prices are too high. For sure.
But are you out of your mind to throw away your midterm vote when the choice is between USAID thugs who are trying to stage a violent coup and topple our country and President Trump who DOGE’d USAID and cut off the funding that went from USAID to the NGOs that pay for the left wing color revolutions aimed at you???
I truly don’t get how anyone could skip voting in the midterms.
I’d crawl over broken glass to give Trump’s agenda to dismantle the deep state two more years.
And, you know, save our country and civilization from the violent death of communism.
Just think, you wouldn’t even know about this coup plot if not for @DataRepublican. You might have skipped your vote, handed Congress to the Democrats and suddenly faced… revolutionary communist violence.
