@GovRonDeSantis ordered ALL automated license plate readers removed from state road rights-of-way by Sept. 30.
Instead, some sheriffs’ offices are simply MOVING them.
In Polk County, Flock cameras were moved onto private property while still scanning vehicles on a state road.
Other counties removed Flock cameras and found numerous unpermitted cameras nobody knows who owns.
The deadline is 2 days away.

BREAKING: A Flock salesman tried to sell the city of Sheboygan 5 years' worth of data on traffic speeds and movement captured by the city's Flock cameras, which the city was never told about.
This proves Flock controls and stores data without the city's knowledge and for periods well over 30 days, in contrast to all public statements and promises about how they handle data.

Neighbors are asking a simple question: Where’s @FDACS ?
Instead of investigating this troubling footage, the Department of Agriculture’s law enforcement arm trespassed the whistleblower/concerned citizen who uploaded it.
The reason given? Multiple complaints had reportedly been filed against their office.
The officer who showed up at the 50-year-old woman’s home to deliver the trespass warning was asked if he had ever felt intimidated by her.
His answer?
“No, ma’am.”
A lawsuit has now been filed against the Florida Forest Service.
Perhaps @WiltonSimpson or @MearKat00 will address this troubling situation.
Investigate the cattle. Don’t silence the person reporting it.

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is much more than crops and cattle.
It’s really the Department of Pretty Much Everything.
It oversees energy, licensing, consumer services, game promotions/sweepstakes, and more.
Right now, it’s being run by a real estate developer who is using the office to enrich himself. The Office of Energy is being led by a career politician who has made millions converting agricultural land into solar fields.
On August 18, 2026, voters have the power to remove a real estate developer from the Commissioner of Agriculture’s office.
Florida’s land and water are on the ballot.

Common sense data center policy is already happening here in Florida! ☀️
Governor DeSantis put smart safeguards in place for data centers. Senate Bill 484 ensures that utility rates will not go up due to data centers. It also ensures that any developer has to get a permit from our water management districts — that protects our aquifers from abuse.
I will ensure these ironclad protections remain in place to protect Floridians.

Remember when they tried to pave over our state parks?
A so-called charity that was never registered with @FDACS created a fake website with an apology to take the blame. Florida law requires charities to register with the Florida Department of Agriculture. That law should be enforced.
As your next Agriculture Commissioner, I’ll hold fraudulent charities accountable. As a member of the Florida Cabinet, I’ll also fight to rebuild the iconic observation tower at Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Floridians were told it was closed for “renovations.” The plan was to tear it down to make way for a golf course.
