Michael Pittman Jr. on Mike McCarthy teaching team about Pittsburgh history: "He educated us on the history of the steel mills, how Pittsburgh was built on the steel production. We learned the mills once produced 75% of America's steel, which basically built America, and that it supported a lot of jobs. And when the mills closed down, it forced Pittsburgh to really rally, because their industry that kept them afloat all of a sudden just shut down. He illustrated how resilient Pittsburgh is and how the team really takes on the attitude of the city. I didn't really know the history. I knew Pittsburgh was a steel production town, but I didn't know the level. It gave us a background and showed us the attitude that Pittsburgh has." #Steelers #NFL
