Ok, as much as i love whatever Deepinder Goyal does, temple looks ridiculous on your face. While all other wearables are going more and more discrete, temple is literally in your face. No one will wear it to a party or to a serious meeting. No one should.

Pavements. It comes back to pavements and garbage. Simple problem to fix - and suddenly Indian cities will stop looking so bad at the ground level. You can add traffic and air pollution to the wish list of problems to fix, but that may take time. Pavements can literally be fixed in a few months.

Ethiopia capital, in a country with a GDP per capita of just $1,000, fun fact. Almost 50% of its population lacks access to electricity, and its HDI is worse than Bihar’s, yet its capital still mogs our Tier-1 cities. 😭😭 Our cities are our PR to the world, and we’re doing almost nothing to fix them. Ethiopia’s capital PR > India PR.

I used to love Karunesh Talwar & Sumit Anand’s comedy. They both are clean comics with really good jokes and they were doing it in the times when abusing incessantly was becoming the norm in the standup scene. Karunesh’s new act is so good. Glad he is back!

Question for sub 3 marathoners. I have seen quite a few runners who run 1:20-1:25 half marathon but have not breached sub 3. Is training for a marathon drastically different from training for a 80 min half?

PERES JEPCHIRCHIR PROVISIONALLY SUSPENDED OVER ADVERSE EPO FINDING Reigning World Champion and 2021 Olympic champion Peres Jepchirchir 🇰🇪 has been provisionally suspended by the AIU after an out-of-competition sample collected in Kenya before her recent Sydney Marathon victory returned an adverse analytical finding for EPO. The highly decorated Kenyan marathoner is a four-time World Marathon Major winner, having won New York (2021), Boston (2022), London (2024) and Sydney (2026). Jepchirchir is also a former half-marathon World Record holder.

Had an absolute blast running VDHM. Few fumbles but they will be corrected in the next race. And to those who keep telling me to lose weight to be a “better” runner. Look at those muscles. I can do both. Muscles & speed. 😎

It’s absolutely ridiculous to abuse someone for RACING. He pushed his opponent to the edge, opponent couldn’t hold it. The stronger athlete on that day won. End of story.
