Yep. And for some, time is a factor.

To all the fine people whom I've never met asking me if I need developers... How's it going these day? AI eating your lunch? Couldn't happen to a more deserving crowd. The *real* developers are doing just fine tho.

I went to Catholic school in the 70s and 80s. We were told over and over... Sex is bad for you - guilt, depression, etc for life! Drugs are bad for you - they'll melt your brain! Rock and Roll is bad for you - beware the devil! Now, any kid with a radio and a brain knew they were bullshitting you about Rock and Roll. The sex part? Yeah, also bullshit. The drugs? After my first tentative hit on a joint, I began to think the drugs warning was bullshit, too. So I ended up trying many, many different things. For the most part, it was all bullshit. But not completely. Some take it too far, and it does become a problem. Guess I'm lucky that my personality lets me step up to the edge and look over without too much risk of slipping into the abyss. Still, when people find out they've been lied to, some are apt to take it too far in response. Call it the pendulum response. Maybe it's just a whole lot of sheeple and a bit of Darwinism.

I love the delicate layering of the lunch meat, how it drapes the store bought white bread so delicately. This is a textural masterpiece right here. Or is that, dare I say, whole wheat? Of course it is! You'd use the entire wheat! No expense spared! Amazing. Love. All together. Five stars.

Bisbee bound. A few unexpected clouds along the way, adding some texture to the trip. 1 hour in the air is always better than 4 in the car.

Something like this is a very big problem for a thought worker like me. You interrupted my flow. My brain does not have a "pause" button. There is no "hibernate" mode for my mind. You might as well ask me to start over from the beginning.

2:40PM on a Thursday. Just wrapping up some things from a client meeting so I can ship the final hand-off documents. I'm 10 minutes out from being done. Windows wants to reboot. Required. Not asking; Telling. You have 30 seconds to comply. Fuck you, @Microsoft

Literally yesterday I was lectured by my urologist telling me I should have a physician managing me because "blood viscosity and other things..." Thanks dude. I probably know more about this than you do at this point. Now shut up and put your gloves on.

Reports from the dark side. Glad you make it out relatively unscathed. Your findings are confirmation of the disorder. Strange things afoot at the circle k.

And you don't have to share your personal information and accounts with another third party that's making money with it somehow but you don't know how.

I'd like to personally thank our politicians from all sides for turning my phone into yet another unusable communication device. Every single call and text is political crap.

Yup! I get work done when at the gym, in the car, shopping, at dinner, watching TV, at the doctor's office...
