🇰🇪 KENYAN TAXPAYERS COULD FACE A SH181 BILLION LIABILITY
Kenyan taxpayers could be on the hook for Sh181 billion if the government cancels the 30-year Rironi–Mau Summit highway concession.
According to the National Treasury, the figure represents a potential termination liability, not an immediate bill.
The big question is: If the concession is cancelled, who bears the financial burden — and what would taxpayers gain or lose from the decision?
Public infrastructure projects must be assessed not only on their promises, but also on their long-term costs, transparency and value for money.
Kenya deserves accountability before billions of public money are put at risk.
Kenya was once regarded as a safe haven for people fleeing instability and persecution across the world. Today, that reputation is increasingly under threat.
The country is facing disturbing allegations of abductions involving both Kenyan citizens and foreign nationals, with government critics among those reportedly targeted.
The recent case in Mtwapa adds to growing public concern about the safety of people who speak out against those in power.
Since William Ruto took office, allegations of abductions and enforced disappearances have become a major human rights concern.
A government has a duty to protect its citizens, not create an atmosphere of fear and intimidation. When people can disappear for expressing dissent, democracy itself is in danger.
Ruto must be held accountable for his government's responsibility to protect every person in Kenya. Silence, denial and impunity cannot restore public trust.
Kenya must never become a country where speaking truth to power comes at the cost of one's freedom or life.
🚨 BREAKING: WHO-BACKED OPPOSITION TO MAHA-LINKED BABY HEPATITIS B TRIAL
A controversial US-funded clinical trial involving 14,000 newborns in Guinea-Bissau has been halted after authorities refused the necessary government approval.
The study, linked to US Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s MAHA agenda, planned to compare vaccination at birth with delaying the hepatitis B vaccine until six weeks of age.
The WHO and other health experts raised serious ethical concerns, warning that withholding a proven vaccine could expose newborns to preventable infections and long-term liver disease.
Important clarification: The trial was halted by Guinea-Bissau’s authorities, not simply terminated by the WHO. The decision does not mean the hepatitis B vaccine itself has been withdrawn.
🚨 HUMANITARIAN CONCERN: MAR SABIT RECEIVES 38,000 PEOPLE FLEEING WAR IN ETHIOPIA
Marsabit County has reportedly received 38,000 people fleeing conflict in neighbouring Ethiopia, raising concerns about the growing humanitarian needs in the region.
Urgent intervention is needed from the national government and humanitarian agencies to provide food, clean water, shelter, healthcare and other essential services.
The response must also support host communities facing additional pressure on limited resources.
Humanitarian assistance must be swift, coordinated and sufficient to protect displaced families and the communities welcoming them.

🚨 BREAKING: MELANIA TRUMP ANNOUNCES EXPANSION OF UKRAINE–RUSSIA CEASEFIRE
U.S. First Lady Melania Trump says the localized ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia has been expanded beyond Oleshky in the Kherson region to facilitate the safe passage of humanitarian aid convoys.
She said the timing was moved forward by two days to protect civilians and ensure the delivery of critical humanitarian supplies.
The ceasefire took effect on October 27, 2026, as part of a humanitarian initiative aimed at assisting civilians trapped in the war zone.
The truce is localized and does not mean the wider Russia–Ukraine war has ended.

TO SIFUNA’S SUPPORTERS: THE REAL WORK BEGINS NOW.
Do you know why you support Sifuna?
Is it because you envision a better Kenya? Do you have your own convictions and ambitions for the country? Do you genuinely desire change, or are you simply riding the wave?
Do you understand the man you are supporting? Do you believe he has the interests of the nation at heart? And are you prepared to help him sustain the movement beyond the excitement of the moment?
If you can answer these questions honestly, then you have a responsibility.
Your task is to gather, not scatter.
Explain to others, with humility, patience and kindness, why you believe in him. Do not insult those who disagree with you. Not everyone sees what you see. Help them understand your vision rather than forcing them to accept it.
Have a clear stand. Scrutinize everyone joining the movement. Ask difficult questions.
Will you welcome the old guards into your movement? If so, under what conditions? Why are some of your peers yet to join you? Is it a misunderstanding, a difference in ideology, or a lack of trust? Could some of those you are welcoming be the very people who have compromised your generation’s future?
Is this movement about winning power or transforming the country?
What is your strategy? What are your weaknesses? What loopholes could those opposed to change exploit? And what safeguards will prevent the movement from becoming what it claims to fight?
Remember, political movements are not only threatened by their opponents. Sometimes, the greatest danger comes from within.
Expect betrayal. From those at the front line. From those who join you along the way. Perhaps even from Sifuna himself. And, if you are not careful, from your own ambitions and compromises.
Never surrender your principles to your loyalty to an individual.
Support the vision, scrutinize the leader, question the strategy and remain accountable to the people.
This will not be an easy journey. It will demand patience, sacrifice, courage and political maturity.
Victory is possible, but it is not guaranteed by the size of the crowd or the intensity of the wave. It depends on the strength of your ideas, the integrity of your leadership and your willingness to remain faithful to the cause when the excitement fades.
Build a movement that is bigger than one man. Build a Kenya that is better than the politics you seek to replace.
The real test is not whether you can help Sifuna rise. It is whether you can help build a country that will still stand on its principles even when he is no longer at the top.
Have a stand. Know your purpose. Guard your principles. The journey is just beginning.

Burkina Faso President Ibrâhim Traore says:
“ I am NOT a politician so I will tell you the Truth . Everyday we see politicians with multiple cars , they eat and dress good . They eat in the morning and evening while millions of people out there have no food . Go to the villages and see how women are suffering. We have families that can’t afford anything .
There is a problem if we have people enjoying while others are suffering. Yes we are fixing a lot of things but it is not enough . We must make sure that in Bukina Faso everyone is OKAY. “
Social media has made some people confuse attention with value.
Thousands of likes, DMs, and online admirers can create an inflated sense of desirability. But being wanted by strangers online doesn't automatically mean you're compatible with the kind of partner you want.
Being desired is not the same as being chosen. Attention is not commitment, and popularity is not compatibility.
Real relationships are built on mutual value, shared standards, character, and genuine connection—not social media validation.
