Under the Home Secretary's proposals, skilled workers would typically have to wait 10 years rather than the current five, but the lowest paid workers, including care workers, would have to wait 15.
However, Ms Mahmood is now considering plans to treat care workers more like skilled workers, including doctors, who can โearnโ reductions to their wait for ILR by working in the public sector.
As such, a care worker who had completed five years of service in the public sector could โearnโ five years off their 15-year wait for permanent settlement, which is the first step towards citizenship."

My own wife told me before birthing our son that she already told her friends and cousins to watch her baby too incase she didn't make it.
I just looked at her and laughed.
I told her my mother pushed out 15 KIDS. No C-section. No epidural. No proper hospital. In the village. And she is alive and strong.
You are in a modern hospital with AC, doctors, nurses, machinesโฆyou will be fine.
She pushed that baby out within 40mins MINUTES. No drama. No death sentence. First pregnancy.
Now she's already telling me we need to go back to the fertility clinic next year to get our twin girls. ๐ Fear to fertility in 24 hours.
This is what women do to each other.
They sit on Twitter and instill fear in other women. Pregnancy is trauma, childbirth is hell, your body will never be the sameโฆthey scare girls who have never even been pregnant.
Meanwhile mortality rate is EXTREMELY low. 99% of women give birth and go home fine. But they will not post that.
They will post the 0.1% horror story to make every woman panic.
