BREAKING: Parents are showing up to counter teachers union lies about school choice in Arizona. This is how we stopped them from getting enough signatures to block school choice in 2022. The teachers union monopoly must be stopped.

We believe Arizona thrives when individuals—not bureaucracies—are empowered to make decisions for themselves, their families, and their businesses.

Want to know why school choice is worth protecting? Just take a look at this report. Arizona charter schools as a group, on 8th grade NAEP scores, out performs every other state in the nation and light years better than the performance of traditional public schools.

NEW: The non-partisan @CSInstituteAZ is out with a new report on how a proposed ballot initiative will severely limit many Arizona kids from education access. Over 400,000 kids will lose access overnight — that number will eventually rise to 800,000 over time.
CSI Arizona’s latest 2026 Ballot Guide report finds the proposed ESA income cap could immediately affect thousands of Arizona families. The analysis estimates that about 20,300 current universal ESA families would immediately lose Universal eligibility if the Act passes, with even more families gradually excluded over time as household incomes grow faster than the cap adjustment. Over half of families would be ineligible by 2045. Learn more: bit.ly/493aurN

Former AZ Gov. @DougDucey in @FoxNews: “Political stereotypes would have us believe that blue states are responsible for most renewable energy. But red states — guided by leaders who believe in capitalism and the free market — understand that investing in solar, wind, and battery storage is just as smart as supporting oil and natural gas.” Conservatives are letting the free market lead and delivering clean energy, including #solar power, for their states. @SecretaryWright @SecretaryBurgum @HowardLutnick @realDonaldTrump foxnews.com/opinion/red-stat…

I posted this last year about Linus and Charles Schultz talking Christmas 60 years ago. It still holds true today and it’s still the Gold Standard for TV specials. Merry Christmas everyone🙏🏽
Merry Christmas everyone. But more than that I hope you have a Blessed Christmas. And if you want to know what that means there’s probably not a better source than Linus. He explained it to Charlie Brown almost 60 years ago in a Christmas Special that has become an American favorite. In 1965 it was extremely daring to have Linus recite from the Bible on prime time television. It probably wouldn’t even happen today and the network executives did not want it as part of the show then. But Charles Schultz, the creator of Peanuts, was a strong Christian man and he wouldn’t back down. Schultz’s conviction resulted not only in Charlie Brown learning the true meaning of Christmas but in Luke Chapter 2 being heard by millions of people every year at Christmas time.

Yes, Arizona enacted a flat 2.5% income tax in 2021 and expanded ESA to near-universal eligibility in 2022 under Gov. Ducey. The flat tax simplified the system, delivering average household savings of about $400 while analyses project added jobs and GDP growth, helping build the surplus he handed off. ESA enrollment hit 92,000+ students, empowering families with choice despite short-term costs partly offset by falling public enrollment; long-term, it should enhance skills and economic productivity.

CFFE’s Arizona field team held events across the state with local elected officials and policymakers where residents had the chance to hear about the latest news in their neighborhood and ask questions about what is next. Thank you to everyone who made it out!

On this Independence Day, let’s remember the founding values that America was built on: free markets, free people, and free ideas. It’s more important than ever that those ideals have defenders and champions — and that is what CFFE is here to do. wsj.com/opinion/capitalism-n…
