Together, we concluded negotiations on the Canada-UAE CEPA trade agreement in a record 47 days. The UAE has also committed $70 billion to invest in Canada which could help create over 100,000 new jobs across Canada.

Ankara negotiations between Libya’s western and eastern authorities have failed, sources revealed.
Both sides, led by Abd al-Salam al-Zubi representing the Government of National Unity and Saddam Haftar representing the eastern camp, left Turkey without reaching an agreement on several key issues—most notably, the powers of the Supreme Military Council and the authority of the Presidential Council.
Saddam Haftar insisted that any agreement must encompass both the military and political dimensions simultaneously; while Abd al-Salam al-Zubi insisted that the military agreement should be concluded first, to be followed later by a political agreement.
