📣 First screening of People's Emergency Briefing in a national parliament!
The film was shown at Holyrood last night. Grateful to First Minister John Swinney for committing to helping ensure it is “shared and understood very widely within Scotland”.

Absolutely! Hope comes from action, and we desperately need action now.
“Hope comes from honesty.” We agree, Prime Minister.
Our open letter to you calls for a Gov emergency briefing to the nation on the climate & nature crisis. Will you take this forward?
Trust the public with the facts.
Build support for bold action.

This is a 'must see' - watched this @Climate_cafe in Dundee this morning and agreed action is urgently required.
What if the whole country saw this?

Just written a @theactionnet letter: EIAs for Hyperscale Data Centres. Write one here: actionnetwork.org/letters/ei…

The Scottish Government @scotgov has ruled an EIA is required for the Cato data centre site. We all need to be asking the question as to why @FifeCouncil deemed this development did not require an EIA!
Life-threatening heatwaves in the UK are causing chaos and claiming lives.
We’re demanding an urgent extreme heat strategy, funded by taxing the fossil fuel giants cooking our planet.

It's encouraging that today, the Prime Minister will chair a meeting of COBR.
Extreme heat, drought and wildfires are only part of the picture.
This is what we would like to see on the agenda:

Petition: Hold a UK-wide briefing on climate and nature risks
The UK faces growing risks from climate and nature breakdown. Yet the public has never been given a clear national briefing on the scale of these risks.

🚨 BREAKING: Political opposition to the UK’s biggest undeveloped oil field is broad, and it is growing.
Over 60 cross-party MPs and MSPs have now signed our pledge to oppose the Rosebank oil field and support a just transition.
Is your MP/MSP one of them?

It's time to step up. We ask MPs to support the Parliamentary Call for a prime-time televised emergency briefing to the nation.
The public deserves to know.
Please share this link with your MP and ask them to get in touch at [email protected]

unfortunately couldn’t make it to the National Emergency Briefing.
Would they consider having @MikeBernersLee

Mike chaired the NEB and sets out the UK threats - and the choices ahead - with exceptional clarity. #NEB2025

Unbelievable. Donald Trump has been invited to a state visit to the UK. We should not be rolling out the red carpet to celebrate this man. Agree? Add your name to the petition today: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitio… via @38degrees
Lots of support today for serious legislative reduction in plastic production and subsidies for refill schemes to reduce single use plastic. Let's make it happen! @SteveReedMP @GreenpeaceUK – at East Kilbride, Scotland
