I’m with Rupert and Caroline. Very important the Greens don’t stand. A vote Green will be a vote for Reform and it will rightly haunt them. Conversely standing down could be done with leverage for PR. Andy B ( and the country) will visibly owe them. Do the right thing Zac.
I agree with Caroline. What Greens should be doing is pressing Burnham on PR etc in return for a non-aggression pact in Makerfield.

Antisemitism is totally abhorrent. Of course. Neither less so nor more so than any other form of ethnic discrimination. Nor, for that matter, is the vileness of any genocide dependent on which ethnic group is being targeted. Anyone disagree? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy92…

This first installment of the Double Down News weekly round up exposes the increasingly dangerous inadequacy of our mainstream media. What you will watch is truly horrific - but sadly, very credible. If your own media does not tell you this stuff, ask why youtube.com/watch?v=1kI9plI4…

John Major shows the beginnings of some understanding here but also shows he needs to attend a People’s Emergency Briefing nebriefing.org to understand the extent of his understatement.
John Major creditably tells truth in this clip, about the worse world we are leaving our kids, by virtue of not acting with any seriousness on climate breakdown. WATCH… #voteGreen

Hundreds of screenings of the People's Emergency Briefing already booked in, before the film has even been finished. A phenomenon. Plus hundreds of screenings in hospitals, schools, unis etc.. Find an event near you or sign up to host. nebriefing.org/screening-map

The relative easy of mis- and disinformation compared to the effort required to point it out is why, as a principle, when we find evidence that someone is deliberately decietful on a matter of policy on just one occassion, we should work to cut out thier political influence.

Marshall, who also owns the Spectator, crammed an impressive 25 dodgy claims into just 340 words I ran out of space on the actual newspaper, so I went through the letter point-by-point in the doc attached, which includes receipts/sources 2/2 docs.google.com/document/d/1…

This ITN piece in the suppressed details of the Joint Intelligence Unit’s report to government on the threat to UK security from biodiversity loss is great journalism. Please Do watch. Gov should explain why this was suppressed. (BBC- where were you?) youtu.be/59DZiPdsOc8

Just re-reading bits of @OborneTweets (Peter Oborne's) 2005 excellent book 'The Rise of Political Lying'. Back then he called out so many examples of Peter Mandleson's clear cut lies. Now wee see the concequence of tolerating this. Can we, as a society, learn the lesson in time?

Chaplain was on it. The specifics of the tech have moved on a bit and for ‘soldiers’, maybe read ‘workforce slaves’ but apart from that this speech is totally apt for 2026.
The first time Charlie Chaplin spoke onscreen, he implored the people of the world to resist the rising tide of fascism. Nearly 90 years later, it remains a timely message.
