I suspect the middle class was a 50-year aberration designed to counter communism.
And that now we're reverting to the mean.

Capitalism runs on debt and resource extraction that future generations will have to pay for, all to keep a small elite comfortable. Yet every alternative gets called 'impractical.

Anyone else wondering how the government acquired the entire earth and now we have to pay them to live on it?
What do rich people really want us to do?
They see a homeless person and are like “get a job loser”
They see someone with a minimum wage job and are like “get a real job loser”
So they work hard and climb the corporate ladder and the rich people are like “why do we pay that guy so much, can’t we get by without him?”
Are they really only impressed by business owners and people born wealthy?

2008 taught us a valuable lesson about big banks and corporations. Then the banks got bigger and the corporations got worse.

I do not understand what billionaires think the final outcome of all this is. If nobody has a living wage, they cannot buy your products, pay for your services, or rent the properties being owned and hoarded. At that point, does the whole thing not just collapse?

Gas is high.
Groceries are high.
Rent is high.
Healthcare costs are high.
Evictions are rising.
Unemployment is rising.
Food insecurity is rising.
Homelessness is rising.
Poverty is being criminalized.
The wealth gap is increasing by the day. Mental health needs are growing by the day.
Exhaustion is everywhere.
And somehow, people are being asked to carry all of this while pretending everything is normal.
This is not normal. This is a public health crisis. It way more than a pandemic
