CLUB STATEMENT As a whole club we are appalled by the racist abuse directed at one of our players during yesterday’s match. We stand with our player and will offer him our full support. Racism has no place in football or in our community. Responsibility for this incident lies with the individual involved. We do not hold their club responsible for that individual’s actions. We have reported the incident to the relevant authorities and cooperate fully with any investigation. We ask that our player’s privacy is respected while the matter is addressed.
