The 7th Cyber Diplomacy Summer School kicked off today in Tallinn, bringing together 60 cyber experts and diplomats from around the world. Throughout the week, participants will dive into key themes including cybersecurity, the impact of emerging technologies like AI, and the application of international law in cyberspace. With applicants from more than 121 countries, the Summer School underscores 🇪🇪 global leadership in advancing cyber policy, strengthening responsible state behavior, and shaping the future of the digital realm. The Summer School is co‑organised by the MFA, @egovacademy, @ESTDEVestonia, and @EU_Partnerships.

Happy #AfricaDay to our friends and partners across the African continent. Estonia’s 🇪🇪 cooperation with African nations has grown remarkably in recent years, especially in the fields of digital development, education, innovation, and business, as well as through collaboration in multilateral forums. Just last week, we opened two new honorary consulates in Gambia 🇬🇲 and Côte d'Ivoire 🇨🇮. Later this year, we will take another significant step as we open a new Embassy in Nairobi 🇰🇪, complementing our existing mission in Cairo 🇪🇬. We look forward to deepening these partnerships and creating new opportunities together.

This week, Estonia🇪🇪 and Ukraine🇺🇦 signed a Memorandum of Understanding to reaffirm Estonian readiness to host the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2027 in Tallinn. Since the beginning of Russia’s full scale war, 🇪🇪 has supported 🇺🇦’s reconstruction through hundreds of projects and humanitarian aid. This agreement marks another step in our long-term commitment to help Ukraine rebuild stronger and more resilient.
