This weekend in Louisiana, #ACPMember @OrstedUS christened the ECO Edison, the first-ever US-made offshore wind service operations vessel, which will be vital to the construction of offshore wind projects in the Northeast.

We have so many clean energy projects — solar/wind/batteries/etc — jammed up in the queue to connect to the grid.
Building more transmission lines would alleviate this bottleneck, but we need permitting reform to make that happen.

The cheapest power in 🇺🇸 is largely stranded in the Great Plains states.
To move that power to market, we need a 21st century grid, connected like the national highway system.
That means: (1) incentives for large-scale lines; and (2) permitting reform to get them built.
