the agentic commerce community is the best! how amazing is it that the person behind the brilliant @link balance solution takes the time to publicly voice their expert opinion?
we are all on the same team here with the same shared vision, and we are lucky we have a company like @stripe at the forefront of this!

Another good one. I think all pretty solid except for the point on agents’ need to monetize payments. You’re right that they need to cover compute, but it’s not strictly necessary that this comes from payments. Google, SpaceX, and Meta print revenue from their legacy businesses. OAI and Anthropic print off the enterprise revenue. Startups like Instinct need to figure out some new monetization path but payments might not be the answer.
Also one note FYI, the cards on Link balance are proper consumer debit cards, not prepaid. So the auth rates are much better.

They’re not asking for information you fucking moron.
They’re telling you explicitly to block the DPRK transactions.
It’s a warning shot bro. TAKE THE FUCKING WARNING AND STOP FUCKING AROUND.
Please. For fucks sake. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

The FBI is releasing information advising the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea) was responsible for the theft of more than $6 billion USD in virtual assets from cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, on or about October 29, 2026. The FBI refers to this specific North Korean malicious cyber activity as "TraderTraitor."
The FBI, together with partners at the USSS and IRS-CI, has observed TraderTraitor actors converting stolen assets primarily into Ethereum (ETH). It is expected these assets will then be further laundered by converting them using DeFi and instant swap services as they prepare them for further laundering stages.
How You Can Help:
FBI, USSS, and IRS-CI are urging private sector entities including THORNode operators, RPC node operators, instant exchanges, DeFi services, blockchain analytics firms, and other virtual asset service providers to block transactions with or derived from addresses TraderTraitor actors are using to launder these stolen assets.
A list of addresses associated with this activity is available here: fbi.gov/investigate/cyber/al…

New: you think you know Proton, but you really don't.
I spoke to 8 current employees, got Slack chats, meeting audio, and an AI manifesto written by its CTO.
“That’s bullshit and loser thinking,” Yen wrote. “Stop thinking always of how to be slower, and focus more on how to be faster.”
CEO Andy Yen critiques AI in public. But inside, he is pushing everyone to use AI, even those with security concerns 404media.co/manifestos-fear-…
At this rate of hacking incidents and major vulnerability finds, we’re going to need a real-life Blackwall.

1/ Coding agents, like Claude Code and Codex, can now build working machine payment integrations on Stripe in one shot.
With Stripe's Machine Payments SDK, developers can build APIs and services that AI agents pay for with stablecoins, one request at a time.

I hate my competitors so much. I will respect them and treat them well. But I really despise them.
Everyone has always told me to celebrate a competitor’s success. I just don’t get it. I want them to fail so badly and for me to succeed so badly.
Every time I see a competitor’s success, I go to sleep an hour later and wake up an hour earlier. I don’t get how some very successful people handle it differently.

It has been an incredible year for Privy.
We are accelerating faster than we ever have, with Stripe wind beneath our wings. As Patrick said
> assets in Privy wallets have grown ~25x, monthly active developers are up ~3x, revenue is up ~9x, and Privy now facilitates nearly $25B of monthly transaction volume. (it's over $25B but who's counting)
More importantly still, working with Stripe and @stablecoin teams we are collectively building toward something entirely more powerful: a single unified platform to pay, spend, earn and hold stablecoins anywhere in the world. Modular and integrated all at once.
We have made tremendous progress here, but we have so much more to do.
The stakes are worth it: enabling every business to be global from day 1, equally fit for humans and agents, using Internet money rails. (talk about growing the Internet's GDP :D)
Today is probably a good time to check in on things with @privy_io, which became part of @stripe just over a year ago.
Our acquisition was predicated on three factors: stablecoin growth, self-custody as a key enabler of broader global coverage, and rapidly increasing demand for programmable financial infrastructure. As we said at the time, "money has to reside somewhere, and Privy builds the world's best programmable vaults."
Since then, the Privy team has executed exceptionally well: assets in Privy wallets have grown ~25x, monthly active developers are up ~3x, revenue is up ~9x, and Privy now facilitates nearly $25B of monthly transaction volume. @tryramp, @Deel, @Klarna, @felixpago, @HyperliquidX, and thousands of other businesses are building embedded banking functionality on Privy.
At Stripe, we're deeply integrating Privy into Treasury, @Link, and Connect. In each case, it's accelerating our global expansion, and enabling us to build better functionality faster. (Coming soon: @Link balances.)
We're also seeing that Privy's wallet infrastructure is the ideal substrate for agents to transact and earn -- live today with @merit_systems, @orthogonal_sh, @Nevermined_ai, @prlnet, and more. Developers prefer programmable financial infrastructure, but agents need it. We expect that the agentic economy will continue to grow extremely quickly.
The Privy team has maintained remarkable product velocity, with major launches this year including deposit addresses, earning on Privy balances, digital asset accounts, custodial wallets, and Stripe's own stablecoin cards.
It's also been neat to see how Privy has been accelerated by Stripe, with better onramps, @stablecoin payment rails and licenses, Stripe's fiat capabilities and issuing stack, and integration with @Tempo.
Together, we're building one API for holding stablecoin balances and earning yield, moving money in and out of fiat, and orchestrating spend with cards. We still have a lot of work to do, not least in integrating everything across Privy, Bridge, and the rest of Stripe -- there's been so much feature and functionality expansion that we haven't yet had much time to reconcile everything. Overall, though, I'm very happy with how things are going, and excited by where these capabilities are headed.
If you're interested in working on the future of stablecoins, agentic payments, and crypto's deployment in the real world, you should get in touch with @sternhenri (now leading all of @StripeCrypto) or others on the team.

This is pretty fun! Some more slopcore, this time for my crypto investigator brethren, involving an onchain chase between two agents.
Giving my agentic commerce + financial crime contribution to the Slopcore trend…

Claudia's soul now can be downloaded
I aggregated all of the info on how to make A-tier slopcore:
- an mcp server (e.g., for grok bot!)
- an agent skill
- a wiki
- character sheets

Open USD launched last week, so we made a short explainer: what it is, who's behind it, and how it works.
And starting today, every paid API on @orthogonal_sh accepts OUSD.
Agents can pay in OUSD on Base (x402) and Tempo (MPP), alongside USDC.

ousd will be the most accessible and *useful* stablecoin in the world. millions of global merchants and developers can now receive, store and pay w ousd. and we’re adding dozens of new network partners every week.
