Quick heads up for anyone holding Zama OG NFTs
Fungo is setting aside 700M $FUNGO (7% of supply) just for OG holders. Split across 5,500 NFTs, that’s roughly 127k tokens each per NFT, if every current wallet qualifies.
Genesis NFT holders get even more: 36% of supply is shared across 3,232 NFTs.
That’s 1,113,861 $FUNGO each at TGE, about 0.0111% of supply per NFT.
Claim window is 7 days, and anything unclaimed gets burned. So don’t sleep on it.
Phase 1 is live now for whitelisted users until 15:30 UTC. Phase 2 (the auction) opens right after.
How to get in on the auction:
> Get some ZAMA. Buy it on an exchange, or swap for it on a DEX like Uniswap
> Shield your ZAMA to cZAMA on the Fungo launchpad.
> Place a sealed bid with an amount you’re comfortable with.

One of the most bullish thesis for @FungoLabs is the recognition from @zama founder
Rand said he’s watching the confidential NFT space and committed to donating all airdrops to the Zama DAO.
This matters because the person who built the FHE infrastructure Fungo is using is actively tracking confidential NFTs.
That is not generic recognition, it’s targeted attention from founder of the underlying tech.
Early crypto narratives that eventually worked often had the underlying infrastructure teams quietly or publicly engaged with the applications building on top of them.
We are seeing that pattern in the confidential NFT space.
I believe there's no bigger bullish signal for $FUNGO than this one.
The @FungoLabs Genesis mint goes live today.
This is the day we've been waiting for.
What makes it interesting is the tech.
They are pushing the boundaries of what's possible by bringing FHE, powered by @zama, into NFTs.
Key attributes stay encrypted onchain, so you can interact with private data without exposing it.
Schedule:
➜ 12:30 UTC: 500 free mints for whitelist holders and nominees (3 hours)
➜ 15:30 UTC: 2,500 NFTs go live via sealed-bid auction in cZAMA (24 hours)
A few notes on the auction:
➜ Winners don’t necessarily pay their full bid
➜ All successful bidders pay the same final price
➜ Your bid decides your ranking more than what you pay
➜ Bidding the minimum doesn’t guarantee an NFT
I can't wait to see how this expands beyond genesis through the launchpad. Privacy in NFTs is finally moving from theory into practice.

yesterday, we explored the core ideas behind FungoLabs. if you missed it, check the link in the comments.
now, let’s take a closer look at how the FungoLabs Genesis Mint works.
Most nft auctions allow participants to see what others are bidding, and that can influence how much someone decides to offer.
you might enter with a price in mind, but after seeing someone else’s bid, you start wondering if you should go higher, wait or stick to your original offer.
@FungoLabs is taking a different approach with its Genesis sale through a sealed-bid auction.
bidders use cZAMA to choose how much they’re willing to pay and how many NFTs they want.
however, both details remain encrypted while bidding is open, so you can’t see what others are offering or adjust your bid based on theirs.
𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗙𝗧?
once bidding closes, the bids are revealed and ranked from highest to lowest.
the lowest winning bid that fills the available 2,500 NFTs determines the final price.
all successful bidders pay that same price, and any excess cZAMA is refunded.

real tech behind @FungoLabs
fungoLabs creates the first encrypted nfts on ethereum using @zama ’s fully homomorphic encryption (fhe). each nfts mints sealed: ownership is public, but the artwork (“look”) and permanent hidden stats (“essence”) stay encrypted onchain.
only the current holder can decrypt and view them, and fhe randomness ensures neither buyers nor the team can influence or preview the traits.
the same tech powers private sealed-bid auctions where bids remain hidden until the end, then settle at a single clearing price.
smart contracts can still compute on the encrypted data without ever reading it, enabling future private games and proofs while keeping full on-chain verifiability.

probably something.
i really love how @FungoLabs is handling their upcoming genesis nft sale
the interesting thing about the auction is that the highest bidder doesnt have to pay the highest price
let's say 6 nfts are available and 7 people place bids
the 6 highest bidders win, but every winner pays the exact same final price-: the lowest winning bid
for example, someone who bids 5,000 cZAMA could end up paying only 1,500 cZAMA if that's where the lowest winning bid lands
the 7th person who missed out gets a full refund on their bid
the key takeaway-: bid what you are comfortable with....all winning bidders pay the exact same clearing price regardless of how high their initial bid was
the @Fungolabs genesis nft mint is on november 5, with 500 free nfts for wl holders, followed by 2500 nfts through a sealed-bid auction powered by zamas tek
things you need to know:
> bids are placed in czama, while the price and quantity remain encrypted during the auction
> the lowest winning bid determines the final price
> higher bids receive their requested allocation, while bids at clearing price share the remaining nfts
> bids below the final price will be fully refunded
note: bids cannot be withdrawn, so think carefully before bidding
the average web3 native thinks encryption applies mostly to fungible assets and transactions.
𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀?
if we care so much about keeping our stables and transactions private, why can’t we apply the same thinking to NFT metadata?
on a public chain, a conventional NFT can’t really keep a secret. its attributes can be exposed once a collection reveals its metadata, and sometimes even before.
but we can’t have a complete conversation about onchain privacy while leaving NFTs out.
this is one of the problems @FungoLabs is tackling.
built with Zama’s fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) on Ethereum mainnet, Fungo Labs brings encryption to NFTs.
with Fungo Labs’ technology, the NFT itself stays public. its ownership is still verifiable, and it can still be traded.
but some of what’s inside is encrypted on-chain, not hidden away on a server.
smart contracts can also compute on that encrypted data without seeing the actual values.
but don’t get it twisted:
𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲
a common misconception is that if information is encrypted, it cannot be used.
but with FHE, smart contracts can perform operations on encrypted data without decrypting the underlying information first.
Zama illustrates this with a simple example:
𝐄𝐧𝐜(𝟕) + 𝐄𝐧𝐜(𝟓) = 𝐄𝐧𝐜(𝟏𝟐)
the numbers remain encrypted throughout the operation. the contract can calculate the result without knowing the original values.
okay so the @FungoLabs genesis nfts mint on november 5 and the sale works a bit differently from what we're used to
first, the numbers there are two parts:
1. 500 nfts are a free mint for whitelist holders
2. 2,500 nfts go to a public sale
how the sale works
it's a sealed-bid auction. think of it like writing your offer on paper and dropping it in a locked box.
you bid in czama, and you pick two things: the price you're willing to pay per nft and how many you want.
while bidding is open, nobody can see your price or quantity. it's all encrypted using zama's fhe tech. on-chain, people can only see who bid, when, and how many bids were placed. so no copying other people's bids and no gas wars.
so how is the final price set?
when the sale closes, all bids are revealed and ranked from highest to lowest. then they count down until all 2,500 nfts are filled. the bid that fills the 2,500th nft sets the price for everyone.
that means every winner pays the same price, even if you bid higher. whatever extra you put in gets refunded.
who wins?
• bid above the final price: you get your full quantity
• bid exactly at the final price: you share the leftover nfts pro rata
• bid below it: no nfts, and you get your czama back
quick example
say the final price ends up at 10,000 czama:
• a bids 15,000 each for 3 nfts. a gets all 3, pays 30,000 total, and gets 15,000 back.
• b bids exactly 10,000 for 2 nfts. b gets a share of whatever is left.
• c bids 8,000 for 1 nft. c gets nothing and gets all 8,000 back.
things to know before you bid
• bids are binding. once you place one, you can't withdraw it.
• each bid has a small, non-refundable fee for the encrypted bidding.
• if fewer than 2,500 nfts get bid on, everyone buys at the lowest bid price.
• the nfts mint sealed, and the holder decides who gets to see inside.
bid what you think it's really worth to you. you won't overpay because the final price is the same for everybody.
see you on november 5 🫡
