One of the most bullish thesis for @FungoLabs is the recognition from @zama founder
Rand said heโs watching the confidential NFT space and committed to donating all airdrops to the Zama DAO.
This matters because the person who built the FHE infrastructure Fungo is using is actively tracking confidential NFTs.
That is not generic recognition, itโs targeted attention from founder of the underlying tech.
Early crypto narratives that eventually worked often had the underlying infrastructure teams quietly or publicly engaged with the applications building on top of them.
We are seeing that pattern in the confidential NFT space.
I believe there's no bigger bullish signal for $FUNGO than this one.

@FungoLabs is taking a different approach with its Genesis sale through a sealed-bid auction.
bidders use cZAMA to choose how much theyโre willing to pay and how many NFTs they want.
however, both details remain encrypted while bidding is open, so you canโt see what others are offering or adjust your bid based on theirs.

fungoLabs creates the first encrypted nfts on ethereum using @zama โs fully homomorphic encryption (fhe). each nfts mints sealed: ownership is public, but the artwork (โlookโ) and permanent hidden stats (โessenceโ) stay encrypted onchain.
only the current holder can decrypt and view them, and fhe randomness ensures neither buyers nor the team can influence or preview the traits.

i really love how @FungoLabs is handling their upcoming genesis nft sale
the interesting thing about the auction is that the highest bidder doesnt have to pay the highest price
let's say 6 nfts are available and 7 people place bids
the 6 highest bidders win, but every winner pays the exact same final price-: the lowest winning bid
for example, someone who bids 5,000 cZAMA could end up paying only 1,500 cZAMA if that's where the lowest winning bid lands
the 7th person who missed out gets a full refund on their bid
the key takeaway-: bid what you are comfortable with....all winning bidders pay the exact same clearing price regardless of how high their initial bid was

the average web3 native thinks encryption applies mostly to fungible assets and transactions.

if we care so much about keeping our stables and transactions private, why canโt we apply the same thinking to NFT metadata?
on a public chain, a conventional NFT canโt really keep a secret. its attributes can be exposed once a collection reveals its metadata, and sometimes even before.
but we canโt have a complete conversation about onchain privacy while leaving NFTs out.
this is one of the problems @FungoLabs is tackling.
built with Zamaโs fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) on Ethereum mainnet, Fungo Labs brings encryption to NFTs.
with Fungo Labsโ technology, the NFT itself stays public. its ownership is still verifiable, and it can still be traded.
but some of whatโs inside is encrypted on-chain, not hidden away on a server.
smart contracts can also compute on that encrypted data without seeing the actual values.

the numbers remain encrypted throughout the operation. the contract can calculate the result without knowing the original values.

okay so the @FungoLabs genesis nfts mint on november 5 and the sale works a bit differently from what we're used to
first, the numbers there are two parts:
1. 500 nfts are a free mint for whitelist holders
2. 2,500 nfts go to a public sale
how the sale worksโจit's a sealed-bid auction. think of it like writing your offer on paper and dropping it in a locked box.
you bid in czama, and you pick two things: the price you're willing to pay per nft and how many you want.
while bidding is open, nobody can see your price or quantity. it's all encrypted using zama's fhe tech. on-chain, people can only see who bid, when, and how many bids were placed. so no copying other people's bids and no gas wars.
so how is the final price set?โจwhen the sale closes, all bids are revealed and ranked from highest to lowest. then they count down until all 2,500 nfts are filled. the bid that fills the 2,500th nft sets the price for everyone.
that means every winner pays the same price, even if you bid higher. whatever extra you put in gets refunded.
who wins?
โข bid above the final price: you get your full quantity
โข bid exactly at the final price: you share the leftover nfts pro rata
โข bid below it: no nfts, and you get your czama back
quick exampleโจsay the final price ends up at 10,000 czama:
โข a bids 15,000 each for 3 nfts. a gets all 3, pays 30,000 total, and gets 15,000 back.
โข b bids exactly 10,000 for 2 nfts. b gets a share of whatever is left.
โข c bids 8,000 for 1 nft. c gets nothing and gets all 8,000 back.
things to know before you bid
โข bids are binding. once you place one, you can't withdraw it.
โข each bid has a small, non-refundable fee for the encrypted bidding.
โข if fewer than 2,500 nfts get bid on, everyone buys at the lowest bid price.
โข the nfts mint sealed, and the holder decides who gets to see inside.
bid what you think it's really worth to you. you won't overpay because the final price is the same for everybody.
