Last Thursday at Medway Council, the Labour administration proposed changes to Full Council meetings which means that the Independent Group will no longer be able to bring a motion forward at every meeting. Instead we MAY get one slot per year. Declining democracy in action.

Awful politics. Chancellor of the Exchequer saying she didn’t know how bad finances were but 2 months prior to election her leader claiming things were twice as bad. Oh and berating previous government for possibly doing something they themselves in fact then do!

4 year ago Wilber completed his 10 mile walk, over 10 days; for the NHS. Quite a challenge for a little boy that couldn’t even stand independently. He so loved the attention he received that day from all the neighbours who came out to cheer him on. Loved and missed always

As sadly expected my motion at last night’s Full Council meeting was not supported by the Labour Administration. But what I didn’t expect was to hear the Deputy Leader say that if the Independent Group withdraw their letter of view regarding HIF then the could join the group!
