This woman was raped at Cornell. She explains that her rapist got an essay - just like Jane Doe's case. A CNN investigation found that "half of the 16 Cornell University students found responsible for sexual assault over a recent 4 year period avoided suspension or expulsion. Instead, they were punished with written reprimands, disciplinary probations, and extra study programs."

Excellent reporting from @itvnews If there *were* Reform members who were shocked by what they saw/experienced there isn't a channel for them to complain / raise the alarm. It's the same across politics and it's how we're allowing poisionous views and people to remain in office.
Councillors and candidates for Reform UK have been recorded making racist, anti-Muslim and misogynistic comments by undercover reporters for ITV's Exposure programme. Two of them even talk about keeping their views quiet until they are elected.

I wouldn't kill for it but I'd commit six years of my life asking for an independent investigation... xitter.cf/EmmaWalkerCEO/status/2…
Would kill for an ITV expose on Lib Dem HQ tbh

ITV need to go undercover in the Lib Dems, starting with Ed Davey’s office.
Ed Davey told the Commons in July what Reform activists were saying on doorsteps. Tonight, we saw ITV went undercover and got Reform councillors and candidates on tape.

There's an assumption women who talk about what has happened to them are negatively impacted or trapped by it. I was seriously ill with this in 21. This is not the case anymore. Fun Emma is on insta. I'm picking pumpkins and eating cake, but this is where I show up for change💪

I can see from your posts that this issue appears to have consumed you for years now. It’s clearly having a negative impact on you. I am certainly not blaming you. Have a good day too.

I was CEO @scotlibdems - I experienced abuse, bullying, wrongdoing. Staffers almost died by suicide in last GE @EdwardJDavey is silencing me. @Channel4News @krishgm PLEASE ask Ed Davey about it tonight. His MPs and MSPs lied on record. There has not been any investigation.

My thoughts exactly Ed. I’m going to nudge you and your party forever more. You are allowing decent people to join your party, be abused and then refuse to help or hear them. It’s dangerous. People nearly lost their lives working and running for your party. #AskAlex

Welcome to my new followers, who I imagine have found me via #EdDavey. This 🧵 should help you get acquainted with my story. Ed Davey knows about all of this. He has ignored me, my colleagues, a petition signed by 44 Lib Dem Staff/Cllrs and a change.org petition. – at Edinburgh, Scotland

It’s not just the government that covered up Russian interference in Brexit. The press also played its part. This is one of the only times I was ever interviewed on the subject… by US media.
Here it is. This is the clip from yesterday's @CNN interview where I'm asked - for first time ever - about Brexit-Trump-Russia. "These vital questions of national security have been interpreted as about politics. And it's not about politics. It's about power. And about Putin."

They’re all out today… I think it’s the first time I’ve been called a ‘lunatic’ mind. I’m writing a course for schools at the moment and Harlan et al are giving me all the material I need on Misogyny 101.

The reason men like this think women like me are disturbed is because we’re not going away. The idea women will speak up over and over is baffling to them. If you’re a woman being told you’re disturbed, crazy, angry etc you can’t let it get you down. You know what you are 💥
She seems a disturbed individual but I am still none the wiser on what her story is.

I’m pleased to have been able to contribute to this article on some of my experience of party complaints systems. In solidarity with the other party staffers who contributed and to Centre for working to find a solution.
🗳️ Party complaint procedures are broken. 💬 We spoke to people who raised serious issues, only to be ignored or silenced. ⚖️ It is time for an independent, properly funded body to handle party complaints. Read the full article here: centrethinktank.co.uk/2026/1…
