Are developers of Personal AI assistants (@bot, @muse) aware of this?
1. People will not message or chat with an AI assistant about a step or task that is trivial to just do.
2. An AI assistant only deserves to be an extra layer when it removes a step that users cannot cheaply do themselves.
3. AI assistants cannot replace user-facing surfaces for anything people treat as a PLACE rather than a request.
4. AI assistants cannot collapse surfaces like feeds and libraries into disposable panels because the activity of looking through options IS part of the purpose.
So, when DoorDash recently confirmed personal AI assistants have only been used a few hundred times to order food, I'm not surprised.
It seems to me like the single most important unanswered question regarding personal AI assistants is:
Which existing surfaces are already places, and which surfaces are actually laborious request forms ready to be replaced?
The answer is unlikely to involve food ordering, shopping and booking plane tickets.
The crazy part is that the nutty professor wants to "ban superintelligence".
The funny part is that he serious thinks he CAN 😂🤣

I’m currently finishing a video on the Sabatini case where I will show you more infuriating things you haven’t seen. I’ll also drop the court files and the 20-minute cross-examination Knouse video that a few of you were asking for. I wish i had video of the trial itself but it’s not available, nor do i have access to more videos than the cross-exam. Still, it’s clear from what I’ve seen in all the court files that the jury came to the correct verdict against Knouse.
