Update on the situation in Japan - Sega's ALL.NET has been hit by a cyberattack. This the first widescale attack I'm aware of to ever affect arcades but the consequences are such that many JP arcades can't operate at all since most games have this de facto DRM in place.

The point of the UK porn bans is to give an excuse to the state to arrest the undesirables. The goal is to make it so if the government has any reason to want you in jail they can find one. No one's going to jail because they have choking porn after all csam is de facto legal

I know that defending kinky pornography isn't exactly something most people want to do publicly, but we should all be pretty terrified of this, honestly.
A staggering level of censorship, and prison time and a place on the sex offender's register if you call someone "Daddy".
Did you know that on the 6th of November 2026 the UK Government is banning the publication and possession of pornography depicting breath play, age-play, and incest?
The maximum sentence for publication offences is five years imprisonment.
This will affect publishers and consumers globally.
The offences are, in simple terms:
1. Strangulation or suffocation.
(2 years for possession, 5 years for publication)
2. Penetrative sexual activity between people pretending to be related.
(2 years for possession, 5 years for publication)
3. Sexual activity between two people where (a reasonable person would think) at least one person is, or is pretending to be, under sixteen.
(3 years for possession, 5 years for publication)
