i pray debt collectors call me
last month one called about a $4,300 medical bill. i let him do his whole speech. then i said six words:
"is this debt past the statute?"
silence
in 38 states, debt expires after 3-7 years. once it passes the statute of limitations, they cannot sue you for it. legally. the debt still exists on paper but they have zero enforcement power
they're calling you hoping you don't know this. because the second you make a payment, even $1, the clock RESETS and they can sue you again for the full amount
that's why they say "just pay $50 to show good faith." that $50 reactivates the entire debt. it's a trap and they know exactly what they're doing
the play when a collector calls:
step 1: say nothing about paying. say this: "please provide written validation of this debt under FDCPA Section 809"
they are legally required to stop all collection activity until they send you written proof. most junk debt buyers can't produce it because they bought your debt in a bundle for 4 cents on the dollar and don't have the original paperwork
step 2: check your state's statute of limitations at your state AG's website. if the debt is past the SOL, send this letter:
"this debt is time-barred under [state] statute of limitations. any attempt to collect or sue is a violation of the FDCPA. cease all contact immediately"
step 3: if it's on your credit report and it's past 7 years, dispute it. "this account exceeds the FCRA 7-year reporting period. remove immediately." bureaus must remove it within 30 days or face $1,000 per violation
i helped someone wipe $23,000 in zombie debt in one afternoon. four letters. zero dollars paid
the collectors who called her every week? gone. the accounts on her credit report dragging her score down 80+ points? deleted. she went from 588 to 691 in 45 days without paying a cent
debt collectors buy your old debt for pennies and try to scare you into paying full price. their entire business model depends on you not knowing your rights
now you know
(link in bio. i delete debt and fix credit scores)

CREDIT TIP 🚨‼️
Pay half of your credit card payment 15 days before the due date, then pay the remaining half, 3 days before the due date. You trick the system into thinking you made 2 full payments, which helps boost your credit score. Tested and proven!

Everything I know about local SEO in one tweet.
Google Business Profile is your most important asset. Not your website. 60 to 70 percent of organic leads come from the map pack.
Verify with a physical address. Service area businesses get crushed by verified locations. Rent a cheap office if you have to. Put a sign on the door. Do it the right way.
Pick the correct category. Search your keyword and match whatever the top 3 are using. Wrong category alone can tank your rankings.
Exact match business names are a cheat code. If your legal name is San Antonio Plumbing Company you will outrank competitors with 5x the reviews. Get the DBA. Make it official.
Fill out your description. 750 characters. Include your keywords and service areas naturally.
Post updates weekly with keywords. Answer Q&As weekly with keywords. Upload photos and videos weekly. Respond to every review with keywords. Google wants to see you have a pulse.
Reviews are 40 to 50 percent of the algorithm. You need more than your competitors. Reviews from local guides are worth more. Reviews with photos and detail are worth more. Reviews in the last 90 days matter most.
Get creative with reviews. Offer free inspections. Free estimates. Free value. Ask for a review at the end. Run an insane offer once a month and stack 20 reviews in a day.
Build citations. YellowPages. Yelp. BBB. Chamber of Commerce. Apple Maps. Bing. Consistent name address and phone number everywhere.
Open multiple GBPs. One profile has a limited radius. Two profiles doubles your coverage. Get offices in different parts of your city. Each one becomes its own lead machine.
For your website. Keyword in the meta title. Front load it. Keyword in the H1 tag. Keyword in the URL. 500 words of copy about the keyword. Address in the footer.
Build location pages. One page per city you want to rank in. You cannot target 30 keyword clusters on one page.
Backlinks matter. Quality over quantity. Links from local sources. Links from real businesses. Do not buy garbage from Fiverr. You will destroy your site.
Blogs are mostly useless for local businesses. Nobody searching plumber near me cares about the history of plumbing. Build pages that target buyers not browsers.
High ticket services are easier to rank than low ticket. Less competition. Fewer players investing in SEO. Commercial is easier than residential.
SEO takes 3 to 6 months to see real results. Website rankings take longer than GBP rankings. If you need leads tomorrow run ads. If you want leads cheap and consistent for years invest in SEO.
Answer your phone. Respond to form fills within 60 seconds. Speed to lead is everything. Best SEO campaign in the world is worthless if you do not pick up.
AI search is coming. ChatGPT. Claude. Perplexity. Google AI Mode. 90 percent of ranking in LLMs is the same as ranking in Google. Get your traditional SEO dialed in and you are already ahead.
The window is closing. Local SEO will never be as easy as it is right now. Markets are getting more competitive every year. The businesses that start today will have a moat. The ones who wait will fight uphill forever.
There's a "debt removal hack" going viral right now that's going to get thousands of people SUED
Some girl said to use ChatGPT to write a cease and desist letter, send it to collectors, report to CFPB, and watch the debt magically disappear
2 million views. Completely wrong. Potentially illegal if you do it wrong
Here's what that law actually does (and what actually removes debt):
The statute she cited - 15 U.S.C. § 1692c(c) - lets you demand a collector stop CONTACTING you
That's it
They stop calling. They stop texting. They stop sending letters
What it does NOT do:
- Erase the debt
- Force deletion from your credit report
- Make the debt "invalid"
- Stop them from reporting to bureaus
They can still:
- Report the debt to Equifax, Experian, TransUnion
- Sue you (after one final notice)
- Sell the debt to another collector who starts fresh
So you sent a scary letter, they went quiet, you thought you won... then you get served with a lawsuit 6 months later
Congrats, you played yourself
Here's what actually removes debt from your credit:
METHOD 1: Debt Validation (15 U.S.C. § 1692g)
This is the real law. If you dispute within 30 days of first contact, they MUST prove the debt exists with documentation
No proof = they must stop collecting AND typically stop reporting
Most collectors buy debt in bulk with garbage documentation. They can't validate because they don't have the paperwork
METHOD 2: FCRA Bureau Disputes
Dispute directly with credit bureaus. If the collector can't verify within 30 days, the bureau must delete
Combine this with Secondary Bureau Suppression - freeze LexisNexis, SageStream, Innovis, ARS, ChexSystems before disputing. These "shadow bureaus" are what Experian calls to verify your debt. Frozen sources = "unable to verify" = deletion
METHOD 3: The 605(b) Method (Blackhat)
Section 605(b) of the FCRA forces bureaus to delete ANY account within 4 days if you file an Identity Theft Report
People file FTC affidavits claiming accounts "aren't theirs"... even when they are
You're swearing under penalty of perjury. It's fraud. It's a false police report. People have gone to jail for this
But people do it constantly and most never get caught because bureaus don't investigate
I'm not telling you to do this. I'm telling you it exists and thousands of people use it every month. Make your own decisions. I'm not your dad
METHOD 4: Pay-for-Delete Negotiation
Collectors bought your $10K debt for $300. Offer them $1,500 to delete entirely. They profit $1,200 and you get a clean report
Get it in writing before paying. Never pay without deletion agreement
METHOD 5: FDCPA Violation Leverage
If they broke the law - called before 8am, threatened arrest, contacted your employer - you have leverage
"Delete this debt or I'll sue you for $5,000 in FDCPA violations"
They'll often delete to make you go away
METHOD 6: Statute of Limitations
Debt past your state's SOL (3-6 years typically) can't be legally collected through courts
Doesn't auto-delete, but changes negotiation power completely
The girl with 2M views gave you a water gun and told you it was a rocket launcher
A cease and desist without the right follow-up strategy just pisses off collectors and does nothing to your credit report
Stop getting legal advice from TikTok

i had $57,000 in debt
I got it removed for $0
no bs, no joke
took only 51 days
everyone told me "just pay it off" or "hire a credit repair company"
both options are for suckers who don't know the law
Here's the method that makes experian panic:
There's a method called "605(b) Sweeps" that deletes bankruptcies, collections, and charge-offs in 30-45 days with an 80%+ success rate
Here's how it actually works:
Section 605(b) of the FCRA says bureaus must verify disputed information within 30 days or delete it. The trick is they verify through "data furnishers" , aka the original creditors
But most creditors sold your debt years ago. They don't have the records. They legally can't verify because the documentation doesn't exist anymore
So you don't send goodwill letters begging them to forgive you…
You send Method of Verification requests demanding they prove every data point: the original signed agreement, payment history, account terms, everything
They can't produce documents they don't have. Unverified = deleted by law
The 605(b) Sweep sequence:
Week 1: Send MOV letters to all three bureaus (certified mail, return receipt)
Week 2: Freeze the shadow bureaus (LexisNexis, SageStream, Innovis, ARS, ChexSystem) These are the "snitches" that verify your bad credit behind the scenes. Freeze them and bureaus get "unable to verify" responses
Week 3: Wait for the panic. They have 30 days to verify. Clock is ticking
Week 4-6: Watch items fall off because they couldn't verify through frozen sources
I've seen Chapter 7 bankruptcies deleted in 43 days using this. $90,000 in collections gone in 51 days. All because the original creditors couldn't produce a wet signature from 2014
Goodwill letters = begging 605(b) Sweeps = demanding your legal rights
Fair warning- this is very very greyhat and legality may depend on the state… Do everything at your own risk

The meta title is the most important on-page ranking factor and nobody optimizes it correctly.
Here's the formula.
Service + Location + Business Name
'Roof Repair Phoenix | ABC Roofing'
Not 'Welcome to ABC Roofing - The Best Roofers in Arizona'
Google reads your meta title to understand what your page is about.
If your primary keyword isn't in there, you're telling Google this page isn't relevant.
Keep it under 60 characters so it doesn't get cut off in search results. Put your most important keyword first. Include your location if you're a local business.
I've seen rankings jump 10 spots just from fixing meta titles. It's the easiest fix that makes the biggest impact.
Check your meta titles right now. If they don't follow this formula, fix them today.

I’ve been OBSESSED with Local SEO for 13 years.
And this quarter, I proved something INSANE.
I took a local business from zero to $100K/month in just 90 days.
Here’s exactly how I did it, so you DON'T HAVE TO HIRE ME.
1. Google Business Profile Optimization
- Set the primary category to their top revenue service
- Added all services with detailed descriptions
- Weekly upload of real job photos
- Requested reviews that include the city and service
- Set service areas for every city they actually serve
This put them in the top 3 for multiple high-intent searches.
2. Landing Pages for Every Money Keyword
Only the homepage is not enough.
We built pages for:
- Each service + locaiton combo
- Each high-value keyword
This got them ranking across all of their service areas.
3. Write content that does TWO jobs: Rank + Convert
AI fluff content is everywhere.
But Google (and real humans) only reward clarity:
- Clear structure with short paragraphs
- Real photos of your jobs, not stock images
- Pricing guidelines (even a range builds trust)
- “Why choose us?” proof like reviews + before/after
- A strong CTA on every page
You’re not writing essays.
You’re turning a searcher into a paying customer.
4. Internal linking = your silent hack
Most local websites are dead ends:
A user hits a page → gets no direction → leaves → no sale.
Fix that:
- Make sure every product/service page is linked from multiple places
-Link blogs → service pages (boosts rankings)
- Fix broken links (instant SEO improvements)
- Use clear anchor text like “roof repair in Tampa”
Google follows a map.
Give it one - and it will follow it straight to your best offers.
5. Backlinks that ACTUALLY move rankings
One backlink from a local authority beats 100 spammy ones.
Best sources:
- Local newspapers + real estate blogs
- Link insertions from industry sites
- Local sponsorship pages + chamber of commerce listings
- Case studies where partners or suppliers link back to you
You don’t need many.
Just the right ones.
6. Hyper-local content is a cheat code
You’re not writing for the whole internet.
You’re writing for the 10-mile radius that pays your bills.
Proven hyper-local content angles:
- “How much does pipe leak repair cost in Austin?”
- “Top 7 AC issues in Phoenix summers (and how to fix them)”
- “Roof damage signs every Tampa homeowner should check after a storm”
Teach. Earn trust. Rank.
That’s how you become the go-to expert in your city.
That's it. That's the sauce.
I have a FREE SEO audit tool that can help your local biz reach $100k/mo fast, comment "SEO" and I'll dm it to you (must be following)

I'm going to share something that Google will tell you doesn't work, but I've proven works incredibly well across 100+ clients.
Exact match domains are absolutely printing money right now.
Here's what I mean:
Instead of "Smith Plumbing Company" with a domain like smithplumbing(.)com, you use "Denver Plumbing" with denverplumbing(.)com as your actual business name.
Google says this doesn't matter. Google is lying.
I have clients outranking competitors with:
5x more reviews
10x better backlink profiles
20+ years in business
All because of an exact match name and domain.
But here's the catch - you can't fake this. You need:
An LLC with that exact match name
A live domain with an actual website
Consistent NAP (name, address, phone) everywhere
A physical address or legitimate SAB setup
The strategy:
Research your target keyword. Let's say "Austin Roofing" has 2,000 monthly searches and the top 3 GBPs have 230, 326, and 174 reviews.
File an LLC for "Austin Roofing" or "Austin Roofing Company"
Get a cheap office space for $500/month. Yes, a real one. Put a sign up.
Build a website on austinroofing(.)com
Get your GBP verified at that address
Build 30 solid backlinks over 3 months
Get 60-80 reviews in 6 months
You'll rank top 3 guaranteed.
I've done this in:
Personal injury law
Roofing
Pest control
Drywall
HVAC
Plastic surgery
It works every single time.
The best part? Once you're ranking, you're making 10-50k+ per month in profit depending on your industry. That $500 office space is the best investment you'll ever make.
Google can say exact match doesn't work all they want. My clients' bank accounts say otherwise.
