Today, an overwhelming majority of our Public Defender attorneys requested management voluntarily recognize our union. We are hopeful to collaborate with management to ensure our clients continue to get the advocacy they deserve!
I just signed a petition: JCC Stop Union Busting - Let JCC Teachers Vote. Sign here: actionnetwork.org/petitions/…

Spoke to @CapitalLaw students with Kyle Stoller from @FCPD_Collective and @realLuke_Ward from AFSCME Council 8 about labor law and supporting workers organizing & fighting for quality contracts. Would be cool for @FCPubDefender to remove its objections & recognize the union!
Please help us urge our director to remove his objections! The link can be found in our bio! #voluntaryrecognition #unionstrong – at Ohio, USA

We're forming our union at @CCADedu because we need & deserve a voice in the decisions that affect us & our students.
Today, we submitted signed union cards from 72% of faculty & we are asking CCAD to respect the decision we've made and recognize our union oft-aft.org/press/large-majo…

Tonight we came to a tentative agreement over union recognition. We will continue to fight for our workers’ rights and ensuring a seat at the table. Solidarity!
