The Bears recently called the Titans inquiring about star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons.
Simmons would likely cost a 2027 1st for Tennessee to relinquish their best player before the trade deadline.
Chicago has been extremely aggressive looking for defensive line upgrades.

The obvious nightmare scenario for Jonathan Taylor is that the Colts trade Quenton Nelson but then don't trade Taylor so he's now still on a bad team with a worse line

The two Chargers players getting the most trade buzz around the league per my sources are EDGE Khalil Mack and RB Kimani Vidal.
Have been able to confirm that the Bears and 49ers have both made serious inquiries about Mack. One of the AFC contenders has expressed interest as well.
Two teams in the NFC East have called about Vidal, who is a sneaky trade candidate as more and more teams deal with injuries at RB.
