Seat based pricing in financial data has been declining for years. Nothing new.
I had ~10 hedge fund calls last week. Seat-based pricing models are dead. Every person cited seat pricing as the #1 pain point with existing data providers.

S-1 shows Gemini $GEMI needs its own DOGE (Department of Gemini Efficiency)
Not a surprise that fake news Politico — funded and propped up by USAID grift — has decided to attack the patriots at DOGE who are combating fraud, waste, and abuse on behalf of the American taxpayers. Politico's argument that contract ceiling value does not equate to savings is laughable. Of course, Politico won't back up any of its arguments by putting its money where its mouth is and guaranteeing the difference between contract ceilings and committed amounts. That says it all. With the exception of the swamp swindlers, the American people wholeheartedly support and appreciate the efforts of DOGE. Keep fighting the good fight. 🙌🇺🇸

Consider, perhaps, that opendoor has few competitors because what they do sucks and doesn’t work
Keith Rabois (@rabois) on Opendoor: He says "A bunch of retail investors led by Eric Jackson have really taken a spotlight and focused it on the potential of the company,” but argues they have failed to capitalize on it in recent years. "Carvana is a $40 billion company with in fact more competition than Opendoor has.” In his view, Opendoor’s core innovation is being undervalued because the company hasn’t framed the narrative as effectively. “The company needs better leadership both on a story-selling side and on the innovation side,” he said, adding that he posted a quick set of fixes on X. He also called recent partnerships with legacy brokerages “a step backwards,” arguing they dilute what makes Opendoor disruptive.

James Fishback is rolling out an outrageous grift of a well planned leveraged media plays to try and grow an ETF business. His spat with Greenlight and head of macro is spin. His recent legal action against the FED is just a publicity stunt to get air time. His DOGE affiliation and dividend was spin. Hiring a space at Mar a Lago for his ETF launch was spin. He has so far raised $28 m for his SPY - DEI SPY ETF that charges 47 bps. What a rip off! He has 4 “employees” - COO is a guy living in the UK who claims previous employment at Palantir but was actually an intern there while he was at Uni - totally unqualified and btw Fishback is on record for saying that he will only hire hard working Americans. He must have forgotten about the Indian guy from Hayes in London. His CCO is a cyber security and regulatory consultant with questionable investment advisory experience. The other two have no records other than one of them could be a 23 year old Hispanic guy from FL with no previous experience but who is apparently Chief of Staff. I am frankly surprised that the SEC allowed Azoria Capital to be registered as an investment advisor. They clearly have been duped as much as the media with the “Head of Macro” title. It’s amazing that the media do no due diligence on grifters like this if the narrative fits their narrative.

Usually I wouldn’t chime in but this is just embarrassing. No Prime desk is giving your (being generous) $300MM family office leverage to fade the concentration trade a year late. You’re not Millennium, and your Prime broker was rescued by UBS…sit down boy

PS the number of unsophisticated financial “investors” commenting on this thread is both sad and funny. It’s called leverage folks! Get an ISDA, be banked by a prime, put the trade on $5-10B a side. This is how it’s done.

Say what you will about Chamath, he gives us the meme content we need

Putting multiple turns of leverage on a 2.2% return over 6 months would be the most hilarious way to lose money, so I’m hopeful that he actually did this even though there’s no chance

Make @chamath screw them in. But he’s retarded so he would most likely fuck it up.
Lutnick: "The army of millions and millions of human beings screwing in little screws to make iPhones -- that kind of thing is going to come to America."

This is stupid
Trump’s new tariffs aren’t a trade tweak—they’re the first move in a full-spectrum reset. $9.2T in debt matures in 2025. Inflation lingers. Alliances are shifting. One announcement just set a dozen wheels in motion. Here’s what’s really happening—and why it matters 🧵
