הגזענות המטורפת כנגד אזרחי המדינה הערבים מאז הבחירות, בייחוד מצד אנשי תקשורת (תעמולה) שופרות ודמויות מהצד שאיבד את הרוב בכנסת - היא גועל נפש מוחלט. מי שהחליטו לקרוע את החברה הישראלית כדי לשרת את ראש לשכת קטאר בישראל, לא עוצרים לרגע ולא בוחלים בדבר.
20% מאזרחי המדינה, יצאו להצביע והפכו לאויב על עצם מימוש זכותם הדמוקרטית.
ולכל מי שמהססים מלגנות את הטרלול המוחלט:
רוצים השתלבות של אזרחי המדינה הערבים? רוצים השתתפות בישראליות המשותפת? רוצים שיהיו חלק מהקולקטיב? רוצים לצמצם לאומנות? למגר פשיעה? אחריות המדינה היא התשובה.
זה עובר בקלפי, בשותפות פוליטית, בתקציבים, בהשקעה בביטחון האישי ומדיניות מצמצמת פערים, אי שוויון ופשיעה.

It would be more reassuring if David Frum, one-time star of the anti-Trump ‘resistance’, wasn’t a card-carrying anti-Muslim bigot, pro-Israel shill, and unrepentant warmonger.
It would be more reassuring if national Democrats could say:
"Everybody in Democratic leadership will combine to curb the ugliest instincts of a Senator el-Sayed. We'll vote funds to protect Jewish institutions from the antisemitic violence that el-Sayed made excuses for. We'll assign him to healthcare committees and keep him far, far away from Homeland Security. We desperately need this seat to hold the Trump administration accountable, but we're not going to lie to you and pretend the guy is anything other than what he is. That would be disrespectful and dishonest. Trump is the main issue here. You have our promise that this nomination is a one-time aberration - and that the rest of us will continue to uphold Jewish safety at home and the US-Israel alliance overseas."
Instead it's all unconvincing and insulting gaslighting - and not-so-subtle signals that if el-Sayed wins, many more Democrats will adopt his style of politics.

אם "גוש השינוי" לא יעשה ה-כ-ל כדי להביס את הגוש הפשיסטי, רק כדי לא לשתף פעולה עם נבחרי הציבור הערבי, האחריות להמשך הרדיפה הזו, שתלך ותחמיר ותגיע גם אליו, תהיה עליו ורק עליו.

המשטרה דפקה לי הלילה בדלת בשעה שתיים לפנות בוקר ולקחה אותי למעצר בגלל פוסט נגד נתניהו.
שלושה שוטרים עמדו שם בחושך. אחד מהם, עם עיניים טרוטות, דחף אותי לקיר וסינן: ״קיבלנו טלפון מלשכת ראש הממשלה, אתה עצור על חתרנות תוך כדי מלחמה. תביא את הטלפון״. השכנים הציצו בבהלה מהדלתות, הכלב בקומה למטה לא הפסיק לנבוח, ושנייה לפני שטרקו עליי את דלת הניידת כשאני יחף ובבוקסר - התעוררתי שטוף זיעה.
הקטע המטורף? שזה כבר לא סיוט. לשני אזרחים בנגב זה קרה באמת ביום שלישי.
קחו נשימה ותקלטו את האירוע: ממלא מקום ראש הסגל בלשכת נתניהו מרים טלפון למשטרה ביום הבחירות, זורק להם פקודה כמו מאפיונר והם פשוט טסים לבצע. פורצים לבתים, שולפים אנשים מהמיטה, מצלמים מעטפות כסף של משכורות ומדליפים מיד לליכוד כדי לצרוח ״שוחד של רע״מ!״ בבית משפט השלום בבאר שבע השופטת זרקה את השוטרים מכל המדרגות. אפס ראיות. אפס חשד. תפירת תיק בשידור חי.
תתעוררו, יש פה דגל אדום בגודל של מדינה שמצליף לנו בפנים.
לשכת ראש הממשלה מפעילה שוטרים בטלפון כדי לעצור אזרחים בשביל קמפיין. אתם קולטים כמה זה עקום? כמה זה חולני? היום זה בדואי בנגב שמשמש כתפאורה בקרקס של ביבי, מחר זה אתם כי עשיתם לייק לציוץ הלא נכון.
תחת נתניהו האזרח הישראלי הקטן הופקר לחלוטין. נשארנו עירומים, חסרי הגנה מול שלטון שהפך את המשטרה למיליציה פרטית, ומחליט שהגורל שלנו יהיה תלוי ברולטה של איזה שופט תורן יישב באולם המעצרים בבוקר.
ותראו את השב״כ של זיני ואת המוסד- תוך יממה הם מתגייסים לחקור ״כסף קטארי בבחירות״. איזו בדיחה עצובה. איפה הייתם שנתיים כשקטאר שפכה כסף, לכאורה, ישר לתוך הלשכה של נתניהו?
שנתיים אתם מורחים את החקירה של יונתן אוריך ופלדשטיין, בזמן ששרוליק איינהורן עדיין עושה חיים בחו״ל ומצפצף על כולנו.
כשזה החבר׳ה של ביבי - דממת אלחוט. כשצריך להמציא ״גניבת בחירות״ כדי להציל את השלטון - כל מערכת הביטחון עוברת לדום.
כי אין פה שום גניבת בחירות, יש פה גניבת דעת וניסיון הפיכה. קפיטול על מלא. נתניהו מנסה לשרוף את המועדון ולפסול מראש את הלגיטימיות של הרוב החדש בכנסת.

En 1927, Juan Rulfo tenía diez años y estaba interno en un orfanato de Guadalajara cuando murió su madre. No lo dejaron ir al entierro.
Cuatro años antes, en junio de 1923, a su padre lo habían matado por la espalda en el sur de Jalisco, por una disputa de ganado que se metía en sus tierras. El niño tenía seis años.
La familia se refugió en casa de la abuela, en San Gabriel. Cuando la persecución religiosa cerró el colegio y la parroquia, el cura dejó su biblioteca a cargo de la abuela, y Juan se pasó los días leyendo todo lo que había allí.
Después lo mandaron con su hermano Severiano al Instituto Luis Silva, un orfanato que él recordaba como una especie de correccional. El 27 de noviembre de 1927 murió su madre, y ninguno de los dos hermanos pudo despedirse de ella. Con diez años, Juan ya era huérfano de padre y madre.
De aquellos años habló pocas veces, y siempre con la misma amargura: «Lo único que aprendí fue a deprimirme».
Años después trabajó en oficinas de migración, vendió neumáticos y se hizo fotógrafo. Y en 1955 publicó Pedro Páramo, la historia de un hijo que va a Comala a buscar a un padre que nunca conoció y se encuentra un pueblo lleno de voces de muertos.
Un libro corto que hoy se lee en medio mundo.
A mí lo que más me conmueve es que el niño al que nadie le explicó por qué se había quedado solo escribió el libro que mejor habla con los muertos.
En estos días de ofrendas, Rulfo dejó la suya escrita.

It was a real privilege attending Macklemore’s concert last night.
A few observations:
1. The arena fits 12500 people. All proceedings would go to help three Palestinian people. IT SOLD OUT IN 10 MINUTES.
2. Listen to Macklemore’s message in the clip below. It could not have been more inclusive, pro peace, and pro love. THIS IS THE PERSON THAT THE PRO-ISRAEL CROWD HAS TRIED TO CANCEL - AND WHO ED SHEERAN BETRAYED.
3. Looking at the crowd, the stadium was packed with Brits of all backgrounds and races who were all there for the music AND for the cause of Palestine. Their dedication was impressive. I suspect most of them were unaware of the situation just 4 years ago. But the genocide has been a FORMATIVE experience for them, particularly for the young. The Palestinian cause will remain with them for the REST OF THEIR LIVES, I suspect, just as the anti-apartheid fight has for those who combated apartheid South Africa in the 70s and 80s.
4. Israel is well aware what it has done to the Palestinians, but it appears oblivious to what it has done to itself. An entire generation of young people, including in the West, will likely never side with Israel again.
