Anticoagulation in chronic kidney disease is challenging.
Our VIVALDI study shows:
-Pts with atrial fibrillation & ESRD on hemodialysis are at⬆️thromboembolic risk
-VKA did not reduce risk, but increased bleeding
Effective&safe treatment urgently needed!
