๐ผ๐ป23 days old. They didnโt even have time to register her. A Russian shell killed her together with her parents and brother.
Sofia Konyshcheva was 23 days old.
She was born on July 22, 2023, in the village of Shyroka Balka in the Kherson region. Her parents didnโt even have time to officially register her.
On August 13, the Russians opened fire. The family ran to a neighborโs basement โ they didnโt make it. The shell exploded right in the yard.
Sofia, her mother Olesya, her father Dmytro, and her 11-year-old brother Artem were killed. The boy kept calling for his mother for several more hours.
Eternal memory.

If working with sick dogs has taught me anything in life it is that we should all try and live in the moment and do more of what we enjoy.
When I was in ICU battling for my life after depression and addiction I told myself if I got another chance I wouldnโt ever be afraid of failure ever again and Iโd forget about possessions and the traditional things the world tells us we need to have or do in order to be happy.
All I could think of was either teaching sport to kids or spending time with dogs. I had no idea that change in outlook would lead me to being with dogs in the way I am now and having such a mission.
Its really hard being caught up in the rat race of life with bills, traffic, health issues, social expectations, stress, anxiety, addiction, missed opportunities, lack of options and every other thing that life throws at us all. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do. The only small bit of advice I can give is to try and do more of what you love as soon as you can. It could be learning photography, traveling to a new country, getting a dog, opening a cafe or playing sports you loved when younger. Just try and be kind to yourself and do more of what you love.

Day 3 of Bonnie and Clyde week.
These two are taking their recovery in stride and looking adorable doing it. Bonnie is rocking the absolute cutest little pink bandage on her ear, while Clyde is sporting his cone and showing off his sweet teefies. ๐ฅน
Even though they have a long way to go, they are handling their treatments like champions. Seeing them safe, comfortable, and still smiling through it all is the best feeling.

32-year-old Ryan Dinnage, who was part of Nigel Farageโs security team, has been jailed for eight and a half years for raping a woman while she slept in a caravan.
He was charged in 2025, was still protecting Nigel Farage in April and May 2026, and was convicted in June.

Very enjoyable evening in Warwick with an audience clearly supporting the idea that Brexit was a disaster and net zero is the only way to go. Nice of @libdemdaisy to be there on her birthday! We all drank to her health afterwards apart from @ZiaYusufUK who legged it with his status symbol bodyguard. Fascinating to see how he did not make a single positive argument for Brexit. They never do. He has lovely shoes though, but a very weak handshake which is never a good sign in anyone.
