Patch Rundown for 26.18 is out!
Frustration man talks about:
1. Case studies on frustration and power across various regions (eg. Zed, Seraphine, Morgana, Naafiri, Nasus, etc.)
2. Some of the discrepancies between role power and popularity between regions and skill brackets
3. How we actually get sentiment about frustration and how it differs from what is often seen on social media
4. The actual rundown
In all seriousness, finely balancing and being responsive to frustrations from various regions is something we take really seriously and we always take that feedback into consideration.
We want to be transparent, even if we have disagreements on what types of changes are best for the game.
We've tried to thread the needle there recently, by nerfing some of the most requested things, nerfs to mage bot (but not too much to push them out of viability), nerfs to roaming support, while being careful about buffs to some of the frustrating champs that are on the weaker side, etc.

This was such an exciting patch to work on, I was fortunate to serve as concept artist on Janna’s legendary as well as the AD on the overarching patch of coven and old god content!!! I hope y’all are excited to weave some foul magics on the rift!!!
Dark gifts and twisted magic bring unmatched power to those who wield them.
Coven Janna, Coven Mel, Old God Anivia, and Old God Urgot are available in Patch 26.19.
ALT Coven Janna wears a midnight blue wing mask that covers her eyes and dazzling ruby earrings that match the crimson eye in her staff. Her cloak and outfit are fully made of dark feathers, contrasting with her pale skin and white hair.
ALT Coven Mel summons blood magic from her fingers, each covered in silver. Her eyes glow red, matching her crimson cape and gem in the center of her head. Her robes are white and dark green with golden accents.
ALT Old God Anivia is brought forth by Coven Janna. The large bird has two dark purple eyes contained within a petricite mask, but there is a third, giant eye positioned in between, as well as many much smaller eyes hidden within her dark feathers.
ALT Old God Urgot looms large above the landscape, dwarfing Coven Mel. His head is a crimson orb placed within two sets of metal orbs, and each leg has a crimson eye placed inside as well.
