Reyes, admittedly not a golf fan, still gets in some references — along with a Scalia cite about "golf and government." ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin…

A new video suggests that ICE agents shot at this car in New York, which had a 5-year-old inside, while it was still driving down the street. Watch when the bystanders duck. It was only later agents came around the car. Wildly dangerous to everyone.

This is exactly the scenario that @DrFiliatrault, @TRyanGregory and I warned about in a Scientific American article last summer: scientificamerican.com/artic… We weren’t the only ones. This is such a predictable disaster unfolding in slow motion.
There is something really concerning (and disappointing) going on in the US right now. A dangerous and preventable situation. Let me explain. nextstrain.org/avian-flu/h5n… 1/

Today, 62 former U.S. ambassadors and national security leaders endorsed my campaign for U.S. Senate. Their service spans five decades under Democratic and Republican presidents. Many were confirmed by Senator Collins herself. Their letter calls out her five votes to let Trump continue the war with Iran and her votes to confirm the officials carrying out his tariff agenda—decisions that are driving up costs for Maine families. I’m honored to have their support. Mainers deserve a senator who will stand up for them.

1 Not fun-filled fact. The plane that Trump has received as a gift, you know, the Boeing 747-8 luxury jet that’s now his Air Force One, was given to him by Qatar, a country that supports the Muslim Brotherhood. For those of you not following Michigan’s senatorial race, this is

Charles Kushner, a New Jersey real-estate developer and the father of Trump’s son-in-law Jared, became the U.S. Ambassador to France in 2025. Introducing himself to the French public in a social-media video, he said that he knew “a limited amount about France.” He does not speak French; he has never lived abroad. He served time in federal prison for illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering. The last crime, a blackmail scheme that involved hiring a prostitute to seduce his sister’s husband, suggests a dubious approach to conflict management. Yet Trump saw fit to hand him one of the most coveted posts in American diplomacy, the seat once held by Thomas Jefferson and by Benjamin Franklin, stewarding the relationship with America’s oldest ally. Since taking up his post, Kushner has earned a reputation for meddling in domestic French politics at sensitive moments. “I don’t see how he can possibly affect the opinions of the French government by regularly irritating them,” the president of the American Academy of Diplomacy said. Lauren Collins reports on Charles Kushner’s Ambassadorship and a new cohort of MAGA diplomats who are underqualified for their posts and overeager to impress the boss back in Washington: newyorker.com/magazine/2026/…

Didn’t know @AbdulElSayed’s opponent in his Senate race, Mike Rogers, was one of @JonStewart’s main opponents in getting 9/11 responders health care for the cancers they picked up on 9/11. They both have choice words for this S.O.B. starting at 39:30⬇️. youtube.com/watch?v=fmodf-lN…

Believe it or not, I am aware of the fact that most people won't read a 16,000 word article about an actual blood-and-bullets war over water in the Rio Grande. So we made a 30-minute film. The filmmakers at TM Studios did an incredible job: youtube.com/watch?v=PBaMGnxt…

Spectator, "Obama is not in the Epstein files either." Crowd roars. Love it!
Abdul just dropped the coldest shit of the night. Trump's ugly bill gutted healthcare for millions while Obama expanded it. Some genius in the crowd hits him with "Obama is not in the Epstein files either" & the place erupts. That's the whole contrast right there. 1 side protects predators & cuts your care. The other side doesn't. Abdul's the 1 telling the truth & Michigan knows it.

It took them a few days longer than expected, but Republicans have finally taken control of votes cast However, democrats still maintain a 7% turnout lead, far above where they were in 2024. We will see how this week continues #flapol

Well and good, but the principles on display here, at long last, were needed nearly two years ago when McConnell and the rest of the GOP rubber-stamped every unqualified Trump appointee and his already clear support for Russia.
GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell is threatening to block Trump’s legislative agenda unless he stops bending the knee to Putin. “Passing this agenda will require working with Republicans who know the difference between the good guys and the bad guys. Ending the obeisance to Mr. Putin may be table stakes for the end-of-year legislation. The president should plan accordingly,” McConnell wrote in The Wall Street Journal.”

3/ There’s another important distinction frequently lost in discussions of mRNA vaccines. Your cells naturally manufacture mRNA, use it to produce proteins, and degrade it through normal cellular processes. This happens constantly throughout your life. An mRNA vaccine uses that existing biological machinery by delivering a manufactured RNA message encoding a particular antigen. Some cells translate that message into protein, allowing the immune system to recognize the antigen and develop a response. Naturally occurring mRNA and vaccine mRNA aren’t identical in their sequences, formulation, or biological context. Nor does the fact that mRNA is essential to life automatically establish that every mRNA-based medical product is safe. Safety still requires evidence specific to the product, dose, delivery system, and clinical outcomes. But claiming that mRNA itself has no place in the human body? That’s not a legitimate scientific objection to vaccination. It’s a misunderstanding of how human cells function.
