Want to have your mind blown? In 1971, the median household income was $9,030, or 220 ounces of gold. In 2025, it was $87,460, or just 25 ounces of gold. Your paycheck went up 10x. Measured in gold, it fell 88%. To earn what the median household earned in 1971, you’d need about $890,000 per year today. That’s what fiat debasement looks like.

Why are central banks buying gold at 5x the old pace while its price falls? The answer is simple. They’re worried about what their dollar reserves will be worth YEARS from now. America’s debt is approaching $40 TRILLION, while its interest bill has reached roughly $1.4 TRILLION. And now Washington has more competition for money. Borrowing by AI companies and data centers is running at roughly 12x its usual level. Every dollar a pension fund lends to a data center is a dollar it CAN’T lend to the government. That’s called crowding out. More competition for capital forces the biggest borrower in the world to pay MORE. At the same time, central banks are reducing their dependence on the dollar... and exchanging more paper reserves for GOLD. The short-term price can fall while that long-term shift continues.
Goldman Sachs, UBS and Bank of America just shared their latest reports on gold. It's at its LOWEST level in 7 weeks, yet none of them are telling their clients to sell. In fact, they're telling them this is the opportunity to accumulate. Here's why (and if you should too):

🔥Silver Flows Back Into India as Import Curbs Ease Before Diwali 🚨INDIA EASES IMPORT RESTRICTIONS ON SILVER AS GLOBAL SILVER SUPPLIES TIGHTEN "India’s silver imports are set to rebound in time for the busiest jewelry-buying season after the government issued a raft of new permits, easing restrictions that had stifled shipments to one of the world’s biggest markets. Traders and bank dealers this week received quotas covering as much as 6,000 tons of silver, according to four people familiar with the matter. The permits are valid for six months, said the people, who asked not to be named because they’re not allowed to speak publicly." bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Central banks are buying gold at 5x the pace, and top Wall Street bankers are telling institutional clients to own it, yet gold FELL. It dropped more than 3% in a day, according to UBS. Here’s why: Oil prices rose. When oil gets more expensive, markets expect inflation to stay HIGHER for longer. That increased expectations that the Fed would raise interest rates again. Higher rate expectations pushed the dollar and US government bond yields UP. Gold pays no interest. So when government bonds suddenly offer a MORE attractive return, the opportunity cost of holding gold rises. Some money moves out of gold and into bonds, which can push gold DOWN even while central banks continue buying heavily.

We hear plenty about gold’s historic price moves. But ask yourself: have we ever faced a global situation quite like this? Geopolitical tensions, record debt, currency debasement and shifting global power dynamics demand our attention. #Gold #Silver #SoundMoney #FirstGold

Why He Puts 10% of What He Makes Into Physical Gold | George Gammon George Gammon puts 10% of what he makes into physical gold and says he never plans to sell it. He also says "set it and forget it" investing is over for your 401(k). The Rebel Capitalist host tells Kitco News anchor Jeremy Szafron why the world can't quit the dollar, even as Gulf allies ask Washington for dollar swap lines, and why central banks are buying #gold to guard against counterparty risk, not inflation. Central banks bought 289 tonnes in the second quarter, a record for any second quarter, according to the World Gold Council @GOLDCOUNCIL . With gold about 26% below its January record, Gammon said he would be "quite surprised" if it were below $5,000 or $6,000 in three to five years. youtube.com/watch?v=_GuUDgfu… @GeorgeGammon
