⚠️ Flooding Status Update from Mayor @ScottFadness
As river levels rise to historic levels and additional rain is forecast this weekend, @FishersFireDept, @Fishers_Police, and Public Works Department continue working around the clock to assist impacted residents. Please follow all posted closures and warnings, particularly near the White River, so our teams can safely conduct this critical work.
Over the past three days, our teams have conducted numerous water rescues and provided support to residents along Fall Creek and the White River. Thankfully, there have been no fatalities or injuries associated with these rescues.
We are also proud to support our neighboring communities. Fishers Fire Department personnel have responded to water rescues in Pendleton, Anderson, Perkinsville, and Tipton, while Public Works has delivered equipment and supplies to Pendleton and Tipton.
I am incredibly proud of our team for stepping up without fanfare, and grateful for their dedication and service. We will continue supporting our residents and neighbors throughout this unprecedented flooding event.

Many Hoosiers are receiving an alarming image that looks like a notice from the State of Indiana in the Marion County Superior Court Traffic Division. This "Final Notice - Court Enforcement Action" is a SCAM!
It falsely claims that you have an outstanding traffic violation and that your immediate action is required to pay tolls or fines.
👉Important fact: Legitimate government notices regarding traffic violations or tax matters are delivered by U.S. mail and provide proper legal procedures and opportunities to respond.
What to do if you receive this:
🔴DELETE it immediately. Do NOT click any links, scan the QR code, or provide any information.
🔴NEVER share personal details, payment info, or click suspicious attachments in texts.
🔴Verify any alleged traffic or court issues directly through official channels: indycourts.org/
Scammers are using the Indiana state seal and official-looking language to scare you into acting fast. Don’t fall for it.

This evening, the Fishers Fire Department and @Fishers_Police were honored to recognize Olivia Harper with a Citizen Lifesaver Award for her actions on February 25, 2026.
When Olivia arrived at the Indianapolis Pickleball Club North (formerly 24/7 DINK), she found Brenda Cantrell experiencing cardiac arrest. Without hesitation, Olivia began CPR and used an AED, providing critical care until first responders arrived. Because of her quick actions, along with continued care from Fishers Fire and Fishers Police, Brenda was resuscitated and transported to IU Health for further care.
We also recognized the @Indianapickle North for having and maintaining an AED on site. Access to this equipment, combined with Olivia’s willingness to act, made all the difference.
Tonight, Olivia and Brenda met for the first time since that day, sharing a meaningful reunion with family and friends.
This outcome was the result of a true team effort. @IU_Health also recognized the responding crews and officer for their role in patient care.
The job often takes us to people’s worst moments, and we don’t always get to see how those stories end. Tonight, we had the opportunity to come together and recognize one where preparation and the willingness to act made all the difference.

Fishers Fire Department responded this morning to reports of a residential fire on East 116th Street. The family safely evacuated the home prior to the arrival of fire crews. A staff vehicle in the area reported visible smoke and fire conditions. Upon arrival, crews found the residence fully involved and worked to establish a water supply over a long hose lay, ultimately extinguishing the fire. No injuries were reported. The Fishers Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau will investigate the cause of the fire.
Fishers Fire Department thanks the @Fishers_Police and the @HCSOIndiana for their assistance with traffic control and the Fishers Police Department’s drone support at the scene.

🚨 Next week, Hamilton County Public Safety will be conducting a multi-agency training exercise on Monday through Friday to enhance our emergency response skills. You may noticed an increased emergency presence in certain areas of Hamilton County.

🚧Nickel Plate Trail Bridge Project Update:
Please be advised that 96th Street at the Nickel Plate Trail will be closed overnight tonight, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for work related to the Nickel Plate Trail Bridge installation over 96th Street. This is a full closure on 96th Street, between Hague Road and Masters Road
Additional overnight closures are also scheduled for the following dates, weather permitting:
• Friday, July 11
• Monday, July 14
• Tuesday, July 15
• Wednesday, July 16
Each closure will take place from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.
