This is totally dishonest. The White House didn’t work with Pope Leo XIV on securing this temporary ceasefire. Leo XIV was involved with this for months. Even while he was in the hospital recovering from lung cancer surgery, he called Putin and then Zelenskyy. The pope wasn’t a supporting actor. He was the protagonist.

The Flintstones really slipped a clever geology joke into a cartoon, and most of us probably never noticed. The Grand Canyon was carved over millions of years, primarily by the Colorado River, so showing it as a tiny stream in the Stone Age makes the joke even funnier. It’s amazing how much thought went into some of these old cartoons, especially the jokes that went right over our heads as kids. Did you catch this joke growing up, or are you just now realizing how clever it was?
