I’m over here recycling toilet paper roll cores, using my own bags, not running the water when I brush my teeth, while billionaires are blowing up rockets and building water-polluting data centers. It’s hard not to be discouraged.

More ways to evoid it too (I use the portmanteau word!) It is the thousands of well paid lawyers and accountants who created a need for complexity to try to stop their well paid work. If they didn't try to help their clients pay less the code would be simple.

Er … massive fuck-up (technical term). Were yer told that digital cash was the future? The Government decided businesses didn’t have to accept cash. And so banks have closed nearly 7,000 branches! … Brilliant! And now ONE technical failure and the system collapsed. (Didn’t even need a naked hacker in his bedroom.) It was a POWER FAILURE! 🤡
