General Milley Monday: On the same day Trump said "A lot of people are saying maybe we'd like a dictator," here's a reminder from General Mark Milley that "we don't take an oath to a wannabe dictator." The oath is to the Constitution.

To everyone trying to discredit John Kelly as disgruntled.
1. John Kelly is a U.S. Marine Corps General. Trump is a draft-dodging serial liar. I think we all know who’s telling the truth.
2. John Kelly isn’t alone. 40 out of Trump’s 44 cabinet members said similar stuff.

NYT tweeted this to its 55 million followers and it has under 500 retweets - presumably suppressed due to the link out. “John Kelly, Donald Trump’s longest-serving chief of staff, said Trump met the definition of a fascist and would try to govern like a dictator if elected”

.@AdamKinzinger says it all:
“The Republican Party is no longer conservative. It has switched it allegiance from the principles that gave it purpose to a man whose only purpose is himself.
“Donald Trump is a weak man pretending to be strong. He is a small man pretending to be big. He is a faithless man pretending to be righteous. He is a perpetrator who cannot stop playing the victim. He puts on quite a show, but there is no real strength there.
“Donald Trump has suffocated the soul of the Republican Party.”

Trump WAS beaten at the ballot box. He didn't care and attempted a coup to stay in power.
Hence the whole 14th Amendment thing.

“If you hate Donald Trump, the right way to deal with that is beat him at the ballot box,” Hawley said. “But don’t try to deny people the ability to vote.”

Jim Jordan was involved in Trump's conspiracy to steal the election and seize power; he urged that Pence refuse to count lawful electoral votes. If Rs nominate Jordan to be Speaker, they will be abandoning the Constitution. They’ll lose the House majority and they’ll deserve to.

If every American would get out of their partisan boxes, this is what every American SHOULD say:
1. If there’s ever sufficient evidence Hunter Biden committed crimes, indict him.
2. If there’s ever sufficient evidence Joe Biden committed crimes, indict him.
3. Per our justice system, sufficient evidence that Donald Trump committed a number of crimes has already been presented, so it’s a really good thing he’s been indicted for all of those crimes. And he’ll have his day in court to defend himself on all those crimes.
4. No one is above the law.
That wasn’t hard to say, was it?
