People like this are the *exact reason* the org hires former Flyers in the first place.
“Can’t criticize the abysmal 4-14 Flyers today because 40 years ago something neat happened!”
They’d have a winning product *today* if they just hired people that knew what they were doing!
I love the Flyers but I really despise some of our fans. Imagine donating money to a banner that says you want to fire a guy who spent years playing his heart out for our organization. Embarrassing. #letsgoflyers

Alright #canucks fans, lets get the party started this Monday, November 9th, at your lovely barn, Rogers Arena.
1st stoppage in the 1st period, it begins.
Let #FireTocchet rain down from the stands.
The power of friendship will see the man sent back to the TNT desk before American Thanksgiving.
We love you, Vancouver.

Matvei Michkov is 100% right to be frustrated.
Danny Briere and Keith Jones hired an idiot to coach their ‘rebuilding’ team of young players.
Fire Rick Tocchet before you lose Michkov.

So Dvorak gets an immediate huge extension and no trade clause, and we “need to see” how our 21 year old franchise superstar “plays deeper into the season” … FUCK this organization
Anthony Di Marco - Daily Faceoff - Michkov | Sources told DFO that it is too early to really hone in on a number on a six-year contract, for example, and that the team would need to see a larger sample of Michkov’s play deeper into the season to make a commitment of that length. In the event that Michkov continues his 49-goal pace, Anaheim Ducks forward Cutter Gauthier’s six-year, $81-million contract would likely be a direct comparable, per sources. - 11/4 #LetsGoFlyers #FlyTogether #NHL

Sports journalist Nima Tavallaey Roodsari questions what he describes as double standards in international sports governance, comparing the continued suspension of Russian national teams and athletes from several international competitions with the absence of similar sanctions against Israel. He cites decisions by FIFA, UEFA, and other sporting federations, as well as ongoing proceedings at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, arguing that sporting rules are being applied inconsistently in cases involving Russia and Israel.

I’m surprised the post-game player & coach interviews still get attention. I got tired of them saying the same shit by 2019. If you have the energy to listen to Couturier regurgitate the same bewildered drivel for the 17th year in a row, God bless ya.

If Tocchet didn't happen to play for the Flyers 30 fucking years ago, they would have fired him two weeks ago.
It's just an alumni club.

I truly hope Comcast and their $20 billion in profit last year can handle the financial hardship of firing Rick Tocchet.
