And on some days the tide is in and the Fraser River Junkyard is submerged. Still, plenty of exploring to be had, tho. Anyone recognize this vintage Lowney’s bag? I wonder what type of old-timey confectionery, was once inside… Pre-1970’s considering where it was found.

Canada vsΒ Japan 1932 β€œWelcome Canadian Ruggers” on the front and β€œThe Osaka Mancini” on the back. This lapel/badge was made to commemorate a rugby match. Then pin (if it had one) is long gone. Not sure if it’s lead or pewter. Found along the Fraser River in Richmond, BCπŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

The Fraser River Junkyard is literally an old city dump closed 60+ yrs ago. It wasn’t sealed properly. At high tide the river pulls the dirt away leaving β€œtreasures” like these old bottles. This is what can be found at low tide. I have 1 of each at home so leave them behindπŸ’€πŸŸ
