Last night was one of the worst nights Gaza has seen. The bombs have never stopped raining down on them, and when the actual rain fell upon them, their tents flooded. So many missing limbs, all missing loved ones, most without homes. And the world just pretended it stopped. I didn’t even post an image with people this time because they’re sick of showing us images of themselves in desperation without action on our part. A reminder to you and me to not forget them because they’re no longer in your feed.

Embarrassing
59 years later, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s unfinished journey to Israel finally becomes a reality. ❤️🇮🇱🇺🇲
Today, 500 African American and African Christian leaders arrived in Israel as part of the "Unfinished Business" pilgrimage, an initiative created and led by the BCLCIR.
Their vision was to fulfill Dr. King’s dream of bringing African American pastors on a pilgrimage and solidarity trip to the Holy Land.
It was a journey MLK planned in 1967, but never got to make.
At a time when it proves most costly, these brave leaders came to see Israel for themselves, led by their faith, a deep commitment to the truth, and in service of Black - Jewish community building, a special tradition built by generations of solidarity.
As part of their trip, they also honored Israelis whose lives were forever changed by October 7 and by antisemitism, including Elkana Bohbot, who survived 738 days in Hamas captivity.
Welcome to Israel. We’re grateful to have you here. 🙏

Your parents won't see you grow old. Your partner never knew you as a child, and your children won't remember you young. You are the only person who witnesses every version of yourself. Take care of yourself, value yourself and love yourself. You are your lifelong companion.

Very unprecedented that at one point, not being a Zionist made you unelectable, and now the leader of the Republicans is literally throwing Israel under the bus to secure seats
Donald Trump tells Fox News on election morning that the U.S. is cutting off the $4 billion in aid they provide to Israel at the end of this year:
“Because they don’t need it. Why should we suffer the slings from lunatics like an El-Sayed when they don’t need it? It’s a bad talking point. Israel’s our number one, we give them more than anybody else and they no longer need it. We’ve been doing it for years — I’ve been doing it. But Israel’s a very thriving country, they don’t need it. If they did need it, I would say keep it going — but Bibi Netanyahu, we reached an agreement on that. And can I be honest with you? He brought it up. He said, ‘I think it would be appropriate if we did not receive aid.’ Because he understands that this is one of their points of contention — Israel’s been a great ally. Much more reliable than most.”

This is why alignment with AIPAC and its views is rightly seen as a big red flag beyond only Israel-Palestine issues.
It’s one of the most reliable indicators that a politician has no principles other than a need to hold office, and will throw anyone under the bus to achieve it.

Gilbert Arenas on why the superstar players are getting hurt in the NBA:
“I said it season 1 and I’m going to say it again as a guy that’s a track runner and I’m looking at history of the game the early 2000s, 90s, 80s, 70s, 60s star players didn’t get hurt this much there’s a reason the star is getting hurt this much because what happens is if you’re not really training and getting in shape and you’re just letting them in their summer looking good come into the season bullsh*t through training camp and then go out in the game play against another superstar that superstar is going to go 100 for the first time and that is what happening.”
Demarcus Cousins says the NBA is moving towards where every good team has a plethora of guards:
“Even when you look at a team like San Antonio they have a bunch of guards, Minnesota a bunch of guards, OKC a bunch of guards. So I don’t know I think we all know it’s this a trending league but that could possibly be where the league is kind of going you want to have that extra layer of guards are that rotation of guards where basically when one group comes out the game don’t really change it stays exactly where it is.”
