As our firm is approaching its 3rd year anniversary, I remember one of the audacious moves I made. I thought about how to get engaged by banks as external solicitors; and I wrote application to all the major commercial banks in Nigeria, including some micro-finance banks. I waited for months and I did not get any response from any of them, even made moves to talk to some friends working in some these banks but no positive response.
I prayed about it and left everything to God. After some weeks, two of the banks reached out. One confirmed and approved our appointment as external solicitors and the other promised to keep in touch.
That experience was an eye opener for me and a learning experience about taking risks, making bold decisions and trusting God.
